Hotel Pink Park — Hotel in Himachal Pradesh

I had a mixed experience at Hotel Pink Park, Bir. While the stay and services were generally good, I had a very disappointing experience regarding my lost earphones that I cannot ignore.

The day before checkout, I accidentally left my earphones on the table in the common area while spending time with friends. I didn’t realize they were missing until after I checked out. I immediately called the hotel manager and explained the situation. He assured me he would look into it and get back to me.

Later, he informed me that they couldn’t find the earphones. He mentioned that a 65-year-old cleaning lady may have mistakenly thrown them in the trash, which I found very hard to believe—especially since they were left on a table, clearly visible. I questioned how such a visible item could be discarded so easily.

As a hotel, there’s a responsibility to safeguard items left behind by guests—at least for a short time—and make an effort to return them. Instead, I was told, “Sir, what can I do?” and offered a ₹1500 discount on my next booking, even though the earphones were worth ₹4000 and were a gift from close friends. I even shared the bill with him as proof.

Eventually, he said he would “look into the matter” again, but since then, he has stopped responding to my calls and blocked me on WhatsApp. That was a month ago.

My concern is not just about the money—it's about accountability. If someone forgets something more valuable like a phone or device, will they be told the same story?

This incident felt like carelessness at best, or theft at worst. I hope the management takes such issues seriously in the future and treats guest property with the responsibility and honesty expected from a professional...

I was impressed by the great reviews but after staying there it looks like all 4/5 star reviews must be paid because this hotel is not worth it. Rude staff who pick up phone but are always talking to someone else nearby , cold reception service , no one available to service at night, smelly rooms which aren’t fully functional , broken bath tubs , no toiletry , for everything we need to call reception n wait . It’s as if they are doing us a favour by tending to us. I was impressed by the great reviews but after staying there it looks like all 4/5 star reviews must be paid because this hotel is not worth it. Very badly chosen bed mattresses - we were getting stuck in those super weak and soft mattresses and slept on floor to get some sleep and avoid back ache. The bathroom smelled badly due to non ventilation.

We are regretting booking here and will never re-book.

I recently had the pleasure of staying with Pink Park hotel for two days, and I have nothing but great things to say about my experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the hotel view.

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, ensuring that my check-in process was seamless and efficient. I was delighted to find that my room was equally impressive, with a spacious and comfortable bed, stylish decor, and all the amenities I could possibly need.

Throughout my stay, I was consistently impressed by the level of service and attention to detail provided by the hotel staff. They went out of their way to ensure that I was comfortable and had everything I needed, whether that meant helping me arrange transportation or scheduling a paragliding session with experienced and licensed pilots who would pick me up and drop me off at the hotel. They also provided excellent recommendations for local attractions to explore.

The food was very tasty 👌

Overall, I had an absolutely fantastic experience at this hotel, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay with their family or group. The attention to detail, excellent service, and beautiful surroundings truly made my visit...
