ParaBooking | Bir Billing Paragliding — Attraction in Himachal Pradesh

Self and my wife, both Senior Citizens in our mid ‘70’s!!, after a lot of deliberation decided to do tandem paragliding. We found the website of ’Parabooking’ which had answers to all our queries and gave us a lot of confidence. We went ahead with our booking, which was straight forward and hassle free. Post our booking all our queries were handled by Mr. Sohail Lalani in an extremely professional manner with a personal touch which put us at total ease in going ahead with this adventure. He explained the do’s and don’ts in detail, removed all fear and apprehensions we had, and ensured that each step of the process was extremely comfortable including the top-notch quality of the paragliding gear, attention to ‘Safety’, and extremely professional and experienced pilots accompanying us.

On the day of our flight everything went like a clock work….we were driven to the launching site and dressed up in Paragliding gear and before we knew we were in the air paragliding…..an unbelievable experience flying like a bird in the sky….the pilots explained us some technicality of flying and wind currents and made sure we were totally at ease.

With the help of ‘Tracking Link’ given by Mr. Lalani our family, children and grandkids staying abroad were able to track our flight. We also took a lot of videos, photos while in flight, before and after our flight, on GoPro given to us making our flight more memorable and a ‘once in a lifetime’ experience.

Once again, a huge thanks to Mr. Sohail Lalani and ‘Parabooking’ and his team team for a wonderful experience and God willing would surely love to do it again in future. To all Senior citizens who are on the fence deciding to go for paragliding….. just go...

I recently had the most exhilarating experience with Parabooking in Bir, Himachal Pradesh, and I cannot recommend them highly enough! From the moment I arrived, the team at Parabooking made me feel welcome and at ease. Their professionalism and attention to detail were evident from the start.

Okay so overall it was a fun experience. We paid 3200 for a 20 minute session. This included a pick up and a drop off from our hostel in bir. Also included a gopro video. Adjusted our slot according to the weather, and even promised a refund in case of bad weather all throughout.

However, there are just two things they could've done better; Complete full 20 minutes of flight time. I don't mind getting only 10 minutes, but at least tell us that it will be a shorter flight. I don't want to bargain mid air. 3 minutes into the flight, the pilot asked me if i wanted to do some fun stunts like 360 or a zig zag etc. It'll be 500 per additional stunt. Firstly, I really don't want to be asked this mid air. if there was an option, let me know before hand. secondly, while i said no, the pilot still said okay, let me just do a small one, i won't charge you for it. However, my friend agreed to it and the pilot charged her 500 additional for basically the same thing that everyone else got for the 3200 that we had already paid.

So yeah, overall a great experience from parabookings, but they really need to have some QC to ensure that pilots are offering what we have...
