Hotel Jaipur Central — Hotel in Jaipur Municipal Corporation

I booked 4 rooms for 4 pax here for the night of 2nd July 2020 via Goibibo. The deal we got was brilliant and post the booking, i even called the hotel to ask about meal plan. I had booked rooms with dinner and breakfast and the person on the call also confirmed the same. He added dinner will be a set menu, which we understood as Corona issues are going on. However, our stay in the end was really pathetic.

1. During check-in, no one helped us with the luggage from the car to reception or reception to room. The same can be verified by hotel owners via the CCTV
2. All our rooms had upgrade complimentary but the front desk person first refused and then seemed reluctant to do that. No worries we said - give us whatever was ready. We made a compromise, we adjusted
3. Once in room, two of the rooms did not have any water bootles. Calls were made thrice before water came in.
4. 1251 room's fridge did not work. Had to call thrice to get this sorted
5. The shock came when I dialled room service for dinner. We paid about 350 bucks extra per person for dinner and guess what - they said dinner would be dal and chapati only. The reception's excuse was that they had just opened up post Corona. So? Why put the dinner option on Goibibo then? In the end, post a verbal fight, they added rice, salad and jeera aalo to the dinner.
6. Before sleeping, I thought of double checking for breakfast and we were told it would be stuff parantha + poori bhaji. However, in the morning the same got changed to omlette and bread pakoras! Omlette came without bread which I had requested for.
7. Another issue was the super HOT boiling water in taps. I understand the SUN is harsh in Jaipur but they should do something about piping so that guests can use the water without literally burning their hands.

So as you can see, the overall stay was way below our expectations. If you are planning to book this hotel, the low price will tempt you but the stay won't be good. That said, we liked:

2. Peaceful environment
3. Clean room
4. Comfortable beds.

Hope Ujjwal Premier Jaipur pulls up its socks and makes sure these shortcomings are...

We call this place a hit on the head at midnight!! Why? We checked in late midnight after a long tiring journey. What welcomed us in the room was a dirty used toilet (as after someone's use). Ideally we should've walked out of the hotel then and there. But we didn't, since we had kids with us and the the time was past midnight. So what next? We called the reception to either change room or get the toilet cleaned immediately. They promised the person was being sent right away. We also needed an extra bed for our child. .....and the wait continued.......remember we were tired and exhausted and sleepy......the next 1.5 hours we spent waiting, making 3 to 4 calls to reception, everytime to listen to their false promises. Finally I lost my patience and only after shouting at the reception staff did the mattress and housekeeping staff come! Early morning my whole family had white powder like fabric threads all over our head and clothes. This came from the bedsheets and blankets used. Thats their quality of hosserie they use. Once you get this kind of taste of a place, you cannot like anything else. They call themselves a 4-star property, but nothing inside the property suggests so. Everything just became a part of a bad experience. Will never suggest this place to anyone, coz the housekeeping and maintenance of this place especially...

The hotel is good overall with excellent rooms and comfortable stay. Bug as a 4 star hotel, a little more is expected of them.

Pros: Rooms are spacious and clean. Housekeeping cleans the room everyday. Well behaved staff though the room service is a little slow especially at night. Buffet breakfast available if you opt for it. All day parking available if you are driving to the hotel. The outside view from the rooms and corridors is great. Have a rooftop restaurant though it is currently closed due to pandemic. Location is excellent as it is on the station road but still clear of the hustle bustle of the busy roads. As such you have access to everything you need within the vicinity of the hotel. All the tourists spots are within 4 to 7 kms of the hotel. Bar is available. Most facilities are available in the room like TV, fridge, drinking water, hot water kettle, bath towels, shampoo, toilet soap, laptop table, etc.

Cons: No swimming pool. The buffet breakfast is not upto standard for a 4 star hotel. Room service is little slow. No recreational room for pool tables, board games for kids. Food is...
