Crown Plaza Residency Srinagar — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

We stayed here at the end of march'21 as most of the other properties were booked due to peak. The owners are really nice people and helping. However, it is their staff which let's them down. For example we complained about the food and owners took it seriously but the staff stll served us half cooked chapatis. They will serve only 2 options I.e. poha or puri chola along with bread butter/jam (that too is dependent on availability) for breakfast everyday. The breakfast timings are dictated by the staff and doesn't have a slot of 1 or 2 hours I.e., 8 to 9 or 8 to 10 a.m. . The staff expects all occupants to eat at 8 a.m. or as soon as they start serving hot food but if you are late then you will have to eat cold toast or the poha or puri. If one complaints then they will blame you for being late. It looks like they least bother about customers then their own comfort. Since the morning were cold, the food will become cold fast and they don't have any utensils or method to keep it warm. The rooms are very basic and does not deserve the shown tariff. Some of them even don't get sun light so have a strange smell. There is no parking as well as the hotel is on the first floor of mall. If you are with a driver then he will have to keep on looking for a parking. In case if owners are reading "please make sure you recruit customer centric staff as we all 5 doubt that they really want to improve your business, make electric casserole available, electric kettles should be provided in rooms, since you own the mall - appoint a gaurd to reserve some parking space and above all pay surprise visits to the breakfast or any other timings and take direct feedback...

People doesnt have ethics to run the operations. We hardly stayed for 8 hours and made our life tougher. Linens are terribly bad, Bathroom has 1 rs shampoo packets and 5 rs soaps. We can literally see the previous guest used soaps in the wash rooms., It doesnt have air condition, doesnt have proper ventilation, washroom exhaust doesnt work. It doesnt have lift, if you are carrying with bags and children, be prepared to burn calories. Breakfast starts at 8am, where most of the guests leaves well before. Reception is terribly bad, they requested for my Aadhar and i have given to them, they told to take photocopy and give me the card which they havent. Unfortunately even i forgotten while checking out the hotel. I realised the issue in Airport and called them, they said they will courier, they havent done. After persistent calls for more than 15 times, they said i have to pay 300 rs courier, i said okay even for this because doesnt want to loose my aadhar in J&K. He sent the courier and called me to send another 100 if i want the tracking number.

Never experienced this kind of service. Attn: Owner of Crown plaza, please be visilent on your staff, guests are finding very tough time. Not sure what kind of control you have on the operations.
