Total Frauds...everyone working at this hotel. from the receptionists (especially Ms. Sadiya, Mr. Ejaz) to the top management. The sole purpose of creating this hotel seems to be to demean and destroy the image of Kashmir.
They have no sense of right and wrong.
They misuse the fact that once a customer has booked their hotel in advance, it is impossible to change it at the last moment because other hotels are already booked or are at very high prices. so the customer will have to tolerate everything that this hotel does with them.
They shamelessly denied giving us our 3 booked rooms even though we had booked 9 months in advance by directly calling the hotel. When we asked why, they showed us a small little patch of paper on a wall near the reception area and said "see, there is leakage issue". We insisted on seeing our allotted rooms irrespective of issues. but they bluntly denied saying "they cannot be opened." When we still pushed them to show us the rooms, they showed us a lower category room so that we dislike it and agree to what they wanted us to do:
They just wanted to send us to stay in another nearby hotel. They tried to convince us by repeatedly saying that it is their B Block. Since we had no other option and they had bluntly denied us our rooms in their hotel, we had to accept. But we still made them confirm that we will not be shifting hotels again and again and that once we checkin to the other hotel, we will stay there for our planned 4 days. initially they denied but when we insisted that we will checkin only after their confirmation, they informed us after 10-15 min that they have spoken to the top management and we will be staying in the other hotel for all 4 days.
The next day morning, we again confirmed with Adlife that the communication between the 2 hotels has happened as per the previous day's agreement. they again said "yes, it is confirmed"
One hour later, when we were leaving for our trip, we got the shock of our life. The other hotel closed the gate and stopped our exit from their hotel!! When we asked why, they said, "our stay was only for 1 day and we haven't checked out of the hotel. so they cannot let us leave."
We lost our mind. we understood what the crooks at Adlife had done with us. Even the MD of the other hotel started screaming on Ms Sadiya of Adlife for involving his hotel in their frauds. When we took him to Adlife and made him meet Ejaz who had confirmed at least 3 times that we will stay in that other hotel for all 4 days, Ejaz instantly changed his stand and said, he had not given any such confirmation!
We were again forced to checkout from the other hotel and shift the luggage to Adlife. but the rooms were not available yet so we had to keep all the bags in the reception area for the entire day so that we don't waste our day managing this ugly situation. Even later during our stay, many customers staying at the hotel came up to us and said, these hotel people are really bad. they also had to fight a lot but nothing comes out of the fight and we are forced to do what they want.
Our next 3 days of stay in Adlife were the worst in the entire history of our tourism experience.
Just noting down some of the issues that we and all the other guests faced:
The room AC/heater didn't work for 2 out of 3 days. It was centrally controlled and they kept it switched off. Even on the day it was ON, we suffered because the temperature for all rooms had to be kept at the same level irrespective of individual guests' preference. The water heater didn't work for the most part of the peak times - morning and evening. Many guests complained that they had to take bath in ice cold water. The kitchen always keeps giving foul smell. Can't feel safe eating anything there. Their Wifi clearly compromises all our device data. DO NOT EVER CONNECT TO IT. The location of the hotel is really bad - right next to a typical dirty, dingy non-veg street food lane.
All in all, even if they offer their rooms for free, one should stay only after all other...
Read moreWe had booked this hotel in advance by making full payment for 2 rooms from 9th to 11th April,2022. Still on the day on check in when we reached there at 6pm after a day long sightseeing we were informed that only one big family room could be made available as there is some fire in other room and the blanket is burnt. When we refused to stay in same room as we are two different families they kept us waiting for almost 3 hours saying they are making arrangement in other hotel for one room. After a long wait at the reception they showed us a very cheap ,basic room in one lodge where there is no AC, Wi fi or any other basic amenities. We then had to raise our voice and asked them why they kept waiting till the guest arrives in hotel when they were knowing the room is not available. Why they haven't done the arrangements in advance for the same. Finally around 9 pm they made an arrangement in some nearby hotel where food and other facilities were not provided. We had chosen MAP plan to avoid rushing here and there after day long sight seeing. Unfortunately we had to rush between the hotels for dinner and bf. We also proposed them to show the room which is burnt but they avoided as it was a fake reason and they had oversold the rooms. Next day they gave us the rooms in same hotel but to our surprise they did same with other family giving them different reasons. Hence, we won't recommend this to anyone travelling to Shrinagar. They are highly unprofessional people with no one ready to take...
Read moreI recently stayed at Hotel ADLIFE in Srinagar, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional. We weren’t entirely happy with our first room, but the staff, especially Sam, and Sahil, went above and beyond to accommodate us. They didn’t just change our room once, but three times, moving all our luggage each time without hesitation. It’s rare to find such attention to detail and willingness to ensure guests are completely comfortable.
The food at Hotel ADLIFE was another highlight. Breakfast and dinner were both incredibly tasty, with a wide variety of options to choose from. The quality of the meals exceeded our expectations, and we appreciated the care they took in preparing everything fresh and flavorful. Whether it was a traditional Kashmiri dish or something more familiar, it was always delicious.
The restaurant, kitchen, and room service were all top-notch, with Sam, Khalid, and Sahil making sure that we were always well taken care of. They were friendly, attentive, and really made us feel at home.
The hotel’s overall ambiance was also fantastic. The staff made every effort to ensure that we had a pleasant stay, and we left with a feeling of warmth and gratitude for their hospitality. I highly recommend Hotel ADLIFE to anyone visiting Srinagar—it truly offers a perfect blend of great service, amazing food, and comfortable...
