We stayed for three nights in this hotel. The behaviour of the staff was very rude. It felt asif the only thing they wanted was money. We had to argue for every little thing right from the check-in time itself. We booked the hotel through a package, and it was mentioned in the package the stay included 3 breakfast & 3 dinner. Since our flight arrival time was early morning we opted for breakfast in the check-in day but they said that it is not possible. They urged us to pay Rs 500 as price for breakfast. When we said no, they even tried to negotiate by giving us a discount of Rs100 !! When we denied the offer and told them that we would have the breakfast from somewhere outside, they said that we can have the breakfast from there, but on one condition. We have to give them Rs.500 in advance, and they would return it on the check-out date if we didn't have breakfast on the check-out day. Since we were really tired we paid them the money, and had breakfast. We had breakfast and came back. Even after waiting for almost almost 2 hours they didn't give us a room saying that it is not their check-in time. When we requested them repeatedly for a room just to change our dress as we travelled overnight, they told us that we can change in their luggage room. But it was not a room at all, a space where 2 people could hardly stand, and with an open window too. Then, we requested them to give us another room and they gave us a room where their staff stayed! Since we had to leave for sightseeing at 11 am, we had to use that. They came to our room on the last night of our stay and recorded a video of me saying only positive things about the hotel. The suggestions and negative things I said about the hotel were not recorded by them. On the check-out day when we asked for the money we paid in advance, the person at reception acted asif he was not aware of the incident at all. He tried to make us fools. He made us wait there for about 15 minutes and we had to argue really hard to get our money back. He paid the money only when other guests came to know about their scam. When my wife gave a review about the hotel, they repeatedly called us and requested to remove it. They even sent us messages on WhatsApp. When we didn't respond, they gave a fraud review to my wife's clinic from another account and told me that they would remove the review if we remove the review of their hotel. It seems we are at fault as our tour agent changed our accommodation from royal batoo hotel at last moment to your hotel and we were expecting normal hotel stay. So it’s fault of our tour operator and we ourselves are to blame for staying at your hotel for 4 days. But review was for other tourists who might visit in future and what to expect regarding room sizes of so called 3 star hotel as per google. We checked-in long after 12 and it is understood that rooms are cleaned in hurry but bedsheet blanket covers bears shoe mark and stones pebbles were wrapped inside blanket . At least customers can expect change of bedcovers and sheets. When rooms are not ready customers are asked to wait in other hotels all over India. On 3 rd day stay we never left hotel and asked reception people to clean the room but same was not done. Tv was not recharged in any of the rooms and on 3 rd day evening only same was done and remote provided on repeated request. I think that’s also new information to you as no other guest complained earlier. Good order was asked at 5.30 pm well before your menu card information that’s also customer fault. Everyday breakfast Puri and bread which crumbles immediately on applying butter, dinner also same menu repeatedly. Do you make visible menu chart everyday to customers . No, as now you can deny and blame food hungry greedy customers from other states. My child started vomitting immediately on consuming milk we ordered and we 8 people fell ill on same day together and stayed in hotel that’s also customer fault. So you people not looking after sanitization and cleanliness aspect citing reason as hurry in these COVID times. Hot water nobody complained till date because all tourist are out full day for sightseeing and you wish nobody should stay at your hotel 24 hrs. We stayed in Gulmarg resort and Himalayan hill resort Pahalgam where greezer is available in bathrooms and we never complained about their food or stay. We stayed at your hotel because we have no other option as our tour operator changed same at last moment. Hence we think we should only blame him for all this. My recent stay at Hotel City Grace with my family left us thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I was greeted with warmth welcome and great professionalism by the attentive staffs. The check-in process was impeccable, and I felt welcomed as a valuable guest. They have offered welcome drinks with Coffee, Tea and Kawa. The accommodations exceeded my level of expectations. The rooms were spacious, clean, and well decorated with central room heater and all time running hot water in toylets providing a comfortable retreat. The attention to detail in the amenities provided, from nice bedding, good toiletries truly enhanced our comfort of stay.
