Pine View Resort — Hotel in Jammu and Kashmir

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Pine View Hotel and Restaurant in Gulmarg, and I must say that my experience was absolutely delightful. The hotel is located in a serene location, and the view of the mountains from the room is simply breathtaking.

The restaurant at the hotel serves some of the tastiest and highest quality food I have ever had the pleasure of eating. The chefs at Pine View Hotel and Restaurant are truly talented, and they take great care in preparing each dish with the finest ingredients. The food is served hot, fresh, and with excellent presentation. I especially loved the local Kashmiri cuisine on offer, which was bursting with flavor.

The warm stay at Pine View Hotel and Restaurant was equally impressive. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and spotlessly clean. The beds are incredibly comfortable, and the linens are of the highest quality. The room service was prompt and efficient, and the staff went out of their way to make sure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable.

What sets Pine View Hotel and Restaurant apart from other hotels in Gulmarg is the best customer service. The staff at the hotel are warm, friendly, and always ready to assist with any request. They are knowledgeable about the local area and can offer great advice on places to visit and things to do. The hotel staff genuinely care about their guests, and it shows in their attention to detail and the level of service they provide.

Overall, my experience at Pine View Hotel and Restaurant in Gulmarg was truly exceptional. Kudos to The Three Musketeers of Pine View Resort; Gulmarg. These three guys are always ready to help the guests with some extra smile on face..... Ashaq, Ishfaq and Tanveer you rock !!! It is not that easy to run the show in tough conditions (-9 degree temp outside with chilly wind is not that common for most of the visitors in Gulmarg during winter seasons) but these three guys were dedicated to help us during our stay at Gulmarg. And if you've already visited Kashmir once then you've experienced that it is bakhsish (tips) that plays the major role to get the job done (even for incomplete tasks) .... but I do not hesitate to say they are not doing it for tips !!! They'll never ask for tips or request you to increase the amount ! We really appreciate Ashaq, Ishfaq and Tanveer for their friendliness and helping nature - a true oasis in a tout dominated place like Gulmarg. The Pine View is a very comfortable and cosy place in Gulmarg - centrally located hotel with a superb open view and they provide very tasty food. I must mention their heating system .... it is just awesome !! Central heating system, hot air blower , electric blanket on bed, hot water in toilet what else we could expect ! Ohhhh.... yes, free wifi is not superfast but we could survive. If the owner of the hotel is reading this review, I'll request him to evaluate couple of things for improvement (yes I am a happy customer but there is scope of improvement): bathroom fittings (some regular maintenance) , breakfast menu and wifi speed. I'm not saying these are not up to the mark but considering the room tariff, some close monitoring on these small items would be just great ! Overall : If I get another chance to stay at Gulmarg I'll definitely select Pine...

It was a wonderful stay. We have stayed there for 2 days. The rooms are spacious and you get all necessary facilities. Our package was inclusive of breakfast and dinner. After checking in, they served us welcome drink (kehwa).  In the breakfast, you get various options such as butter toast, bread omelet, boiled/scrambled eggs, aloo paratha with pickle, tea/coffe/kehwa. In the dinner, you get options such as jeera rice, yellow dal, mushroom masala, chicken rogan josh, and chapatti. The food is yummy and the taste is the ultimate among all places that we had in Kashmir. Food is unlimited, when it is included in your package. The staff, food, hygiene maintenance, and the hospitality is top-notch here. The location of the resort is the major advantage for the travellers. The major sightseeing places are at walking distance and the Gondola ride office counter is just 1.6 kms from this resort.  If anyone wants to enjoy the cold climate conditions, they can easily reach the Gondola office counter by walking. However, you have options to hire vehicles also. If you would like to stay in this resort, I would recommend booking your stay with food.

Tips to the future travellers: In the booking websites, the location for both Pine View Hotel and Pine View Resort is mentioned as Gulmarg. But Pine View Hotel is in Tanmarg that is approx. 10 kms from Gondola and other nearby sightseeing places. If you are planning to stay in Gulmarg, make sure that you chose Pine View Resort.
