Kanha Continental — Hotel in Kanpur

Kanpur is my native city but this time for some reasons i had to stay in hotel . I did not book any hotel in advance , i walked in to this hotel as its near by to places which i had to visit. For a normal room i was charged around 4700 that too after discount , i was surprised to know that there was no complimentary breakfast , the receptionist said that no hotel provide complimentary breakfast . After informing him that i am a frequent traveller and everywhere i get complimentary breakfast , he said that he will arrange something.||Worst part came when we got to sleep , i stayed for 2 nights there , the first night there was a party going on till 12 AM with very loud music and second night worse as one more party went upto 3 AM with even louder music. I had to complaint 100 times but there was no respite finally i asked receptionist to come to my room and tell me how one can sleep in these conditions than only they provided us another room.||In Kanpur no loud music is allowed after 11 pm but they were royally breaking all the rules even when i discussed this with them.||Other than that rooms were comfortable and sleep quality was fine. But i may not chose that...

Introduction: Well, one thing that came into my mind after looking at the room size, service, and food is that the hotel is overpriced when compared with other hotels nearby. I would rate the hotel good though given the cleanliness and the food, staff is also very nice and cooperative. In the evening, you can visit Moti Jheel, Rave 3, Swaroop Nagar market etc.||||Personal Note: I would recommend if you are planning for personal stay either book online or opt for some other hotel. ||Nearby Places: As far as, it’s nearby places, there is Moti Jheel and temple nearby where you can visit in the evening. Nearby mall is Rave 3.||||Tarangam Restaurant and Kanchnam Bar: Food is good.
