JK Temple is not just an architectural marvel but also a pinnacle of devotion, spirituality and peace. It's lush green lawns, exuberant courtyard and astonishing Vedic construction of pristine white marbles put it up rightly as a Landmark and identity of industrial city of Kanpur. The place bustles with visitors and devotees all around the year, and is a bliss to visit it specially during October to March, when the open area and shining sun, provide just the perfect way to start your day, as you seek blessings from the divine gods such as Shri Radha Krishna, Shri Hanuman, Shri Lakshmi Narayan and Shri Gauri Shankar all present in the sanctum sanctorum of the Mandir. The sanctum itself is so beautifully constructed that one won't be able to resist but to quietly immerse in the divinity and magnificence. A point worth mentioning here is, photography inside the temple is prohibited and mobile phones, wallets, leather built belongings etc, must be deposited in the safe deposit depot situated just outside the main temple building inside the premises itself and is free of cost. As far as the history of the mandir goes, It was constructed & opened to public, by the reputed JK Trust in the year 1960 and since then it's magnificence & Grandeur has taken people in awe. The Temple also boasts off 3 Ponds on west , north and south sides in its premises and is a sight to behold specially during Janmashtami (the Birth festival of Shri Krishna), when fountains and lights are decked up in all their glory. The temple is open all days of the week from 09:00 AM until 12:00 Noon and then from 04:00 PM to 06:30 PM Evening. The temple is located in the neat and posh street of Sarvodaya Nagar and is well connected with public conveyance from all major places of Kanpur, worth highlighting is the recent service of Metro Trains which has made it even more easy to reach as once can de-board from nearest metro station (LLR Hospital) and then can take an e-rickshaw/any other mode of transport. to reach the premises. For those using their own vehicles, there is a decent parking space available on each entrance.
