Pratap Residency — Hotel in Karnataka

We found this hotel through makemytrip and booked based on reviews. Initial appearance of the hotel is good, rooms are decent size and it is also very centrally located.||However, house-keeping /cleaning staff lets the hotel down. On day 2 when we returned after touring Hampi, we noticed that the room was filled with cigarette smell. Someone also threw the cigarette bud in the commode and did not even flush it. We immediately complained against this. Next day when we returned, we noticed that house-keeping staff took all the soaps from our bathroom and did not bother replacing them with new soaps. Once again after spending a long day touring, I had to go to the reception to complain and ask for soaps. This for some reason this took them 10 minutes. They were not bothered about customer’s problem and took 10 minutes to take out a couple of soaps lying in the drawer next to them. ||Check out process was even more frustrating. Wi-fi had not worked during our stay and this proved to be a challenge for the check-out staff also. They were not able to confirm the payment status online and one person was already waiting and getting frustrated when I came down. Finally after 15 minutes my turn came (in a queue of only 1 person). They took another 15 minutes to confirm payment status over phone (which was ‘Paid in advance’) and then asked me to show my voucher. If they just wanted to see my voucher then why were they asking everyone to wait for so long. ||I will not stay at this hotel again, nor will recommend anyone...

I recently stayed at [Pratap residency] and can confidently say it was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. From the moment I checked in, the staff went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable and memorable. The room was immaculate, spacious, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could ask for. The bed was incredibly comfortable, offering a great night's sleep after a long day of exploring.

The hotel's location is perfect, with easy access to [Hospet attractions/transportation], yet it still offers a peaceful and serene atmosphere. I particularly enjoyed the [restaurant/café], which served a delicious array of dishes near by the location.

What truly sets this hotel apart is the impeccable service. Every staff member I encountered was warm, friendly, and attentive to all my needs. They genuinely care about making your stay as pleasant as possible, which made a lasting impression.

Room is quite big. Toiletries not provided even after 2 days of mentioning. Foot mats almost to discard, rooms were not swept though asked for room cleaning, bath towels not provided on first day, one of our clothes to wear were found missing while room cleaning, dry fruits were eaten while we were back from Hampi, forget sleeping peacefully as the rooms face main road which fills continuous traffic sound and honking horns. Parking is on footpath, if u are lucky and come first u might get one near. Pillow covers were toren and stained. No food court, whole night be ready to listen to that thud sound of shutting wall storage cabinets doors next to every 2 to 3 rooms which are used to store room.service stuff. As we stayed in season we had to pay around 600 rs more than usual 1200 rs. For non AC. Beverages served hot and good . As it was last moment decision to Hospet ,I had few choices to select. Plan early to rate 5 star for ur stay wherever you go. We are checking out today...
