15/12/2024 So we wanted to go to Tungabadhra Dam and road was closed and we were lost so only location we know for great food was Shaanbaag and that security was great and helpful and now his instructions were proper. Food was exceptional again. Masala Dosa it was great, Yummy. And 60 Rs well affordable. Only thing no tea after 11 AM that is disappointing. Service was slow too this time we sat in South Indian section and at 5:45 PM maybe it’s their closing time. Receptionist was counting all PayTM Money. 27k. Too Great for a day sale. Also there is Resto Bar of Shaanbaag opposite to this. Maybe that’s for Room. 14/12/2024 We were starving after a long morning of sightseeing in Hampi, so we decided to have lunch in Hospete. My dad, always the researcher, found out that Shaanbaag was the most popular restaurant, so we headed there. We followed the Google Maps directions and started going towards it. It was in our road to Hampi. but be warned: the security guard's enthusiastic, joyous and helpful will say “come- come!" (Like aanedo aanedo) might be a bit risky so use your own driving skills. The restaurant had two sections: North Indian upstairs and South Indian downstairs. There was even a "family zone" with a photo of Swargiya lady that hide “FAM”!and only showed "ILY" (a bit spooky, if you ask me. I think I am going to help after this). All the staff were super friendly and really quick with the service. The menu said this restaurant is there since 1982. The restroom was a bit of a time capsule, and it is common toilet or let's just say it wasn't fancy and not clean. But the food! Wow! The Veg Thali was amazing. It was different from the food we have in Goa, with a delicious sambhar. Soup though disappointed me as we ordered for sweet corn and there wasn’t single corn in it. The handwash area was clean, which was a nice touch. And the prices were very reasonable for such a tasty meal. This Shaanbaag reminded me of the one in Goa, the and the food is definitely worth it.

One of the worst hotel I have ever seen. even at this time (corona) they have not kept it clean. Food was served with some what looks like insects. Masala dosa was like done couple of hours back and they served.(look at the photos attached). Bonda soup sambar was like water with red chilli power mixed. No taste nothing. And it was cold. I never had Bonda soup which is cold. Fork and spoons were not washed and they served it as it. Attitude of owner and server is too high. Even after complaining they were ignorant. That's the reason I guess they have already closed one of their branch. Last year we visited and it was good. Expected the same this time and it was worst experience ever. People better stop going to this hotel.

Worst lodge I have ever seen The rooms are in very bad condition It's a 25 years old lodge But not at all maintained well Bath rooms are even worst. Public toilets are even better compared to this. There are cockroaches in the room. No water facility from sink No locks to the bathroom door Please do not visit this lodge looking the pictures The reception himself told that is 25 years old lodge and we cannot maintain more than this The most worst thing is they are charging 1500 rs for this worst rooms Not sure why the owner still has kept this lodge running There is no 0 star that can be given to the hotel

We first go to buy pizza from a small eatery beside the hotel but a person belonging to the staff of Shanbagh hotel(restaurant) tells us that the pizza place will deliver in the hotel too as it's a part of Shanbagh hotels. We enter the hotel and they provide a menu of the pizza place. They treat us with a very bad service. It was the AC room but the AC wasn't working, had to request them to switch on the fan for us. Extremely slow service. Had ordered 2 small pizzas and a garlic bread with a blueberry mojito which took close to an hour and which wasn't even worth all the wait. We get a bill for Rs. 530 out of which Rs.40 was charged for AC room (where the AC wasn't even working). I go to the manager, he sarcastically takes me out asking who asked me to sit inside. Then takes me to the main manager who informs me that since I ordered from the Pizza place, they are charging hotel charges. I told them it was their person who asked us to sit there saying that place was their own. But he adamantly and very insensibly told me that they'll still charge the same. Never coming back to this hotel. Very rude behaviour and no courtesy or polite behaviour towards...

I have ordered first for Idly and Food was in plate served me is cool and asked to server he simply replied me no sir it's fresh and hot.

I thought let it be, again I have ordered for Masala Dosa and he bought it in a plate which is normal one, when I asked him why it's not hot and he was saying no sir I have given you a hot Dosa only after placing on table might be because of fan it becomes like this.

Very smart answer is given you brother I told him. Simply collected Money from me which is not tollarable.

And went to beside to that I found Sai Tiffins which I got fresh and Hot All kind of Tiffins.

I suggest every one please don't go ever and never, I have got worst service and unacceptable answer from the server.

If you really you wants to have a good quality and you are a Food maniac please go to...
