Sun Royal Residency — Hotel in Karnataka

We were on educational trip to Mangalore and wanted accomodation for 3 days close to AJ hospital. So were directed to this Hotel. At the reception we requested to see the room but the receptionist who is rude refused and showed us the pictures on the wall. We were tired from the long journey so jz took the room. In the room there is a cupboard of which one door is hanging and is a threat that it might fall off - the toilet flush is not working, everytime we use the toilet we flush it with a bucket of water -The same could have been fixed by the management but it's not done. We have been staying for 3 days now but not once the room is cleaned nor the bed sheets are changed and the dustbin is taken. Also there is no waste bin in the washroom. The room is full of ants. Curtains are dusty. No lights near the dressing mirror. No intercom. The good part is there is hot water available from 6 to 10 and the room is spacious but not worth the tariff charged. Wouldn't recommend this...

Not even 1 star, the worst hotel ever seen. No room cleaning, no linen changing, no dustbin clearance, Card machine doesn't work or may be purposefully make it not to work and people sitting at reception will keep harassing for payment and they demand only for cash payment. The worst behaving staff, you will not get management or owner contact for escalation or feedback, you are literally at their mercy. You take AC room but you should not ask for remote as they have just one remote for the whole hotel. Now you can imagine the condition of this place, their motto is just money, that's it. Pathetic hospitality, no support whatsoever, you will be encouraged until you occupy room then nobody cares. Instead Laxman Residency, Mangaluru will be a very good option, this is just below the flyover near...

Checked in here on a weekend. Firstly, hygiene of the room give to us was a little questionable. There were cockroaches on the floor. When we asked the person who showed us the room to clean the room once and get rid of the cockroaches, his response was "What can I do? I didn't bring the cockroaches. They come and go". We were taken aback at that reply.

The beds came with no blankets.

No hot water available as well. A requirement especially when you have been drenched in the rains for a long time.

Not going to come...
