I recently stayed at the Ocean Pearl Inn for a short business trip to Mangalore, and I was thoroughly impressed. This hotel consistently exceeds expectations, especially when you consider its very reasonable pricing. It's a perfect choice for both business travelers and tourists looking for a comfortable, no-fuss base.

The Location: The location is arguably one of its biggest strengths. It's situated right in the heart of the city. . You are within walking distance from many amenities. Despite being centrally located, my room was quiet and I wasn't disturbed by city noise.

The Rooms: I stayed in a standard AC room, and it was spotlessly clean, which is my top priority. The room was compact but very well-designed, with everything you need: a comfortable bed, a clean bathroom with 24-hour hot water, a writing desk, a flat-screen TV, and a reliable Wi-Fi connection. The air conditioning was powerful and effective—a blessing in Mangalore's humidity. The housekeeping staff does an excellent job maintaining the rooms.

The Service: The staff at the reception were courteous, professional, and efficient. Check-in and check-out were swift. They were also happy to provide recommendations for local eateries and help book transportation. The service has a warm, personal touch that you don't always find in larger chain hotels.

The Food: The hotel has an in-house multi-cuisine restaurant. I had breakfast and one dinner there, and the food was delicious, well-prepared, and reasonably priced. It's a great convenience, especially after a long day of travel, to have a good dining option right downstairs.

The Value: This is where the Ocean Pearl Inn truly shines. For the level of comfort, cleanliness, prime location, and excellent service, the rates are exceptional. You get much more than what you pay for. It offers a premium feel without the premium price tag.

In fact our choice fell up on Your property, The Ocean Pearl Inn, because of our colourful memories of the tasty food we had from your Kodialbail property. But of late, specifically after your leaving we were missing the charm there. It was then that we chose your property in Bejai. In the absence of the hall that we'd requested for the function, the suit room was suitably converted for the occasion. The Birthday cake (Butterscotch flavour) you'd arranged expressing your love and care from your team for our baby girl was just delicious and the taste is still lingering our tongues ( only the quantity was not sufficient ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ), The starters we ordered, both veg. & non veg, specially the manjurions of Goby, Baby Corn and Mushroom Chilly apart from filling our stomachs, carried its own taste unlike elsewhere, where it used to be alike. And also all the dishes that we ordered were very very tasty and well appreciated by one and all. A Big Salute to all the CHEFS and their team who watered their sweat for making all the wonderful, fantastic, fantabulous, delicious and memorable dishes for our celebration. They have really proved themselves. I would be doing injustice if I fail to mention the commendable & selfless service of Mr.Rajesh and team in serving the dishes in a meticulous way. My recent stay at Ocean Pearl Inn, Mangalore offered a mix of positive aspects and significant concerns.

On the positive side, the rooms were notably clean and spacious, providing a comfortable environment for relaxation. The processes for check-in and check-out were also commendably easy and efficient, contributing to a smooth start and end to the stay. Parking, while a bit constrained due to being on a one-way lane with space for only about four cars, was manageable, though it could be a challenge during peak times.

However, there were a couple of areas that fell short. The breakfast offered was unfortunately not good, lacking in quality and variety, which was a disappointment to start the day.

The most critical incident, however, involved a room boy entering my room without permission while I was in the shower. This was a serious breach of privacy and completely unacceptable. Such an incident significantly undermines a guest's sense of security and comfort, which are paramount in any accommodation. This single event overshadowed many of the otherwise positive aspects of the stay.

While Ocean Pearl Inn has strengths in its clean, spacious rooms and efficient administrative processes, the unsatisfactory breakfast and, more importantly, the severe privacy breach, suggest a need for significant improvement in staff training and...
