Hotel De Continental — Hotel in Karol Bagh

Very dirty room having foul smell of cigrettes and alcohal with uncleaned and torned bed sheetand pillow covers. A small table very old ,dirty and fungus laden .fridge of no use .bath room with non functional shower. No hand wash/toilet soap, shampu,tissue paper,towels etc in bath room. A.c. is switched off most of the time. Started only on repeated requests that is too for a couple of minutes. L.c.d. not functionable properly. No water,no complimentry breakfast, no tea.comlimentry breakfast provided only once in three days booking that too very bad, unhygeinic and unfresh. 10% service tax charged on food items which is abolished by the govt. Room service is very poor . Staff is very non couertious, rude and behave like enemies which is contrary to the hospitalty rules and norms . They are quarellsome in behabiour and harsh. They demanded rs. 750 for accomodating an additional guest without providing any additional bed or large room for the value and too without issuing any receipt. There remains a loud noise in the night for late hours which is very uncomfertable. A terrified atmosphere is created not suitable to stay . We cut short our stay. I arrived in India on 25th September, 2023. I was taken to a hotel which I did not quite like. The rooms were too squeezed and were somewhat stuffy. I requested my host to find me somewhere else, that is how I ended up in Hotel De Continental. I was shown I deluxe double room with one big bed and a small bed which was quite nice ideal and suitable for me and my dad coz we did not want to be far from each other noting that I had accompanied him for treatment. The room is perfectly airconditioned. Very spacious bathroom and toilet with a good hand and wash basin and a nice shower. Today is our last night in the hotel as tomorrow we will be moving to a furnished apartment where we can cook for ourselves. I highly recommend this hotel and will certainly miss it. Definitely my hotel of choice if I come back to...

I had just arrived in India to bring my dad for treatment at BLK-Max super speciality hospital and was having challenges in getting a reasonably price hotel where I could stay for afew days before I could find an apartment for the remainder of our one month stay in India. This hotel came through for me at the point whereby I didnt know where else to look. The gave me a very comfortable double room/suite which has one big bed for my dad and a smaller one for me. I highly recommend them for the hospitality and good service...
