Banter brings together a beautiful mix of serene ambience with culinary indulgence, all under one roof, well technically half roof and half open. This place has the most beautiful open Air seating well comforted by the mist system and various fans and coolers. The floor has pebbles or gravles in this outer seating area with many trees decorating the place to perfection. The borders all covered with leafs and plants that are lit at night with LEDs. The swing seating is in high demand. Other outside seating also looks great and makes one choose it over the air conditioned one. A big glass doorway lead to the back of the air conditioned seating. There is a separate front entry as well to the air conditioned seating that has group setup as well long chair setup. There are multiple screens all around for match screenings. There is so much to write and appreciate about the ambience but so little words to describe. And not to forget the quirky writeups everywhere, on the entrance section to the bar counter boards. The place is expected to have a private seating setup, terrace seating as well all week liquor available by mid August. Coming to the food, Maggi arancini is definitely a trend setter. Topping it with Maggi powder was the main ingredient that won my heart. Definitely recommended. Pindi chole humus does look light in colour but renders the right Pindi chole taste as desired and goes well with lightly toasted kulchas, again a must try. Udta Punjab has definitely made its impression in the city and giving banter it's trademark dish, this vodka flambed garlic chicken dish is a must try. Definitely was a party in my mouth. Coming to the mains, the khow suey was prepared well and furnished the coconut milk flavour with right amount of spices. The noodles served with it were fresh and sauteed well. Banter dal is their take on dal makhani and was near to authentic. It was delicious and had the right consistency. Junglee mutton was absolutely delicious with a mildly spiced gravy and tender mutton. Really appreciate the right cooking of the mutton to melting tenderness. Butter chicken had light sweetness and medium consistency Tomato cashew gravy with excellently cooked chicken chunks. Taka tak soya chaap is something rare to find in restaurants and banter does a great job in bringing the unique to us. Well spiced up and tastes amazing. I was so full by this time that there was no room for Desserts. The mocktails here are definitely a winner. The veggie touch chatter box served in a beautiful sphere glass was very refreshing. Paan India rendered the desired flavour of a subtle paan and is a must try. The place is medium expensive and priced in line with other fine dine brands of similar standard, the staff is well dressed in uniform and trained. Service is appreciable and I am certain every visit to this place would be a delight, thanks to the beautiful space...
Read moreIt’s a place been run by Manager Narendra from Himachal and General Manager Ram . These people are rude, ill mannered and big stain on their respected field. If their managers are like this, you can expect what their staff would be like.
We had pre reservations for outdoor sitting (been confirmed by them through telephonic communication ) .The time we reached it was all empty. Manager Mr Narendra was extremely insolent. I would say , he kept on pushing us to give us table indoors instead what we discussed on call was for outdoors. On questioning , reply was “we have party reserved for people outside” ( as if we go to bars to grieve ) and all tables are booked . Nevertheless none except for 2 tables were been occupied by people through out. While he was arguing with me and my friends, another girl was struggling with the same issue with him. She came to us , asking for help regarding same matter. MR. NARENDRA MISBEHAVED WITH ME , when I started putting up points from my side. HE HAS NO SENSE TO TALK TO LADIES EVEN. However somehow we managed to get a sidekick table in one corner which had no fan around, and speaker above our head. After an hour , we were again shifted out from that place to some other table because Mr Narender had to give out table to someone else. We were there for few hours , to our surprise tables were been offered to random people ( may be people who have been bribing them ). While leaving , we tried to talk to GM RAM about the same issue thinking there would be someone hearing us out (after we paid bill of 30k in 3 hours ), to my surprise, he was equally discourteous and the reason he gave contradicted with Narendra’s excuses of not offering outdoor table. They believe that apart from them , customers are bunch of stupid people (whatever we say them they gonna believe) To cut it short, I would recommend to never ever visit this pathetic place . Food was great but torment environment created by the managers are gonna spoil your mood . When I put it on instagram about such disheartening impertinent behaviour by managers there, I was surprised random people as well my friends shared the same kind of experiences with BANTER. Even Google shows stats of how many people have experienced same things as us. BIG NO for this place till the time their managers don’t learn basic hospitality principles. They are not just ill mannered to customers but are also a disgrace to whole Hotel...

What-e-melon Mocktail- It was quiet refreshing drink with melons, oranges, lime, mint and star anise. Flavours were perfectly balanced and it was value for money 💰 😀
Two Worlds Mocktail- This was basically a green apple fizzy drink with vanilla and mute traces of khus. It was nothing extraordinary and was very basic. It made me feel as if i am drinking bottled green apple juice. So this can be skipped if you plan to visit there🤭
Shanker Market Tawa Aloo Bruschetta- This again can be a miss. This dish completely failed to impress. Bruschetta were crisp and flavoured but aloo chaat on top of it wasn't competing enough. It was a bit sweet and couldn't deliver the flavours.
Exotic Farmers Pizza and Kadhai Vegetables Pizza- Both of these were really nice and I couldn't find any fault:) Though I would strongly recommend to try Kadhai Paneer Pizza out of the two as it tasted so damn desi !! Exotic farmers was good and you get such flavour almost everywhere and thats why you can skip 😀
Pindi Channa Hummus- This dish is a must have ! I totally loved the fusion of pindi chana flavour in hummus. It was a delight and was served with kulchas. Totally value for money !!
Paneer Flies to China- You just cannot skip this dish when you are @banterdelhi . It was the best dish. Best flavour ever! Crispy fried paneer with amazingly suated veggies with that rich spicy dressing! Very rare places do justice to chilli paneer ! Must Try !!!
All Berries Monster Shake- This shake was absolutely bang on😋⭐️ It did justice to its name and Sip by sip you could actually feel the flavours of all berries-strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries and ofcourse vanilla to bind the combination. Quantity of it was actually monstrous hahahahaha but you will crave for more because it is that tasty ! It is a must try when @banterdelhi
Final Verdict: Its a good place with some good food and lively crowd! Interior and Live music adds more points towards excellence !! I will rate this place 8.5 out of 10 !
