Hotel Jyoti Deluxe — Hotel in Karol Bagh

I had booked 2 rooms for three days (6 Sept-9 Sept 2016). Despite checking-in at the hotel at 11:00 PM on 6th, we paid the full amount for that day. Cleartrip said that Credit Cards were accepted at the hotel but the machine (apparently) was not working. ||||On 6th we were allotted two rooms. One Triple occupancy and one double occupancy. The AC in the triple occupancy was not working. The double occupancy was previously occupied by a student preparing for his UPSC exam and the room was in utter mess. The linen was so unclean. After an argument with the hotel staff, they agreed to change the room the next day and repair the AC in the triple occupancy room. ||||The next day, while one of the rooms was changed, the AC in the triple occupancy after being repaired (apparently again) was not up to the mark. There was no Hot Water available in the hotel. ||||Most of the rooms is let out to students preparing for their UPSC exams on a monthly basis and there is absolutely no maintenance. Toilets are unclean. I was deceived by the images shared on Cleartrip. ||||Lastly when I asked for a receipt, the guy at the reception refused. After speaking to the owner over the past three days, arguing, threatening to change the room, I managed to get one. ||||One of the worst experiences of staying with family at this place. We had to catch an early flight to Mumbai on 9, so ordered room service for tea. But they denied serving us. After much deliberation, the hotel guy went and got tea from outside at the cost mentioned in their menu. So basically I had to pay 20 Rs for a cup of cutting chai that costs Rs 7/8. ||||Do not go by hotel images on ClearTrip and other travel sites. Please check beforehand. Do not hesitate to pay a little extra to get good rooms. But BEWARE of such...

I went to this hotel because my agent book this hotel for me because i asked for 3 stars hotel and i dont think this hotel deserved to be 3 stars hotel.the is at karol bagh area which is a very congested and dirty area. The location for this hotel also very deep and hidden in some small path.||||The room look so old, the toilet itself is so dirty, the door itself seem like going to break if you pull it harder same goes to the pipe And the worst part is there is limited hot water. Which is so nonsense because it was freezing outside. The hot water only available in the morning after 7 and also its not that hot.||||But one thing that is good about this hotel is they serve a lot of food, like if you wanna add more and more food they will serve. PLEASE NO ONE BOOK ROOM HERE, THAT RECEPTIONIST IS A BASTARD, WHEN WE CHECKED THE RECEPTIONIST IS ASKING FOR THE BOOKING NUMBER SO RUDLY AS IF WE ARE STAYING IN HIS HOUSE..WHEN I SHOWED HIM GOIBIBO BOOKING ID WE DID NOT ACCEPT IT EVEN THOUGH HE SAW THE BOOKING IN MY NAME IN HIS SYSTEM, AND AFTER A FIGHT WE WENT TO ROOM, INSIDE ROOM THERE WAS NO TOWEL AND I CALLED THE RECEPTION AND ASKED FOR 2 TOWEL, HE SAID WE WILL GIVE ONLY ONE TOWEL, HE WAS LITERALLY TRYING FOR A FIGHT AGAIN AND I ASKED HIM HOW WE TWO GUYS USE SAME TOWEL AND THAT BASTARD REPLIED THAT ARE YOU TAKING BATH TOGETHER..AND WHEN I SHARED THIS INCIDENT WITH ONE ROOM BOY OF THAT HOTEL AND HE SAID HE IS LIKE ...AND WE VACATED THE ROOM MORNING ITSELF...
