I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Greenwood Resort in Thekaddy, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the warmth and hospitality of the staff. The resort is nestled amidst lush greenery, and the peaceful surroundings make for a truly tranquil getaway.

The highlight of my stay was the comfort of the accommodation. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-appointed, and provided all the amenities I needed to make my stay comfortable. The bed was particularly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep every night.

The pool was another highlight for me. It was impeccably clean and well-maintained, and provided a refreshing break from the heat. Whether you wanted to swim laps or simply relax on a sun lounger, the pool area was the perfect spot to unwind.

The food at the resort was absolutely superb. The chefs use fresh, locally-sourced ingredients to create delicious and flavorful dishes that are sure to satisfy even the most discerning palate. I particularly enjoyed the local delicacies that were served, and the restaurant staff were always happy to make recommendations and offer guidance.

In the evenings, the resort arranged cultural programs featuring local artists, which were simply excellent. It was a wonderful opportunity to experience the local culture and traditions, and I was thoroughly entertained by the performances.

Accommodation (5/5): The house was surrounded with luscious greenery which is a soul soother. The house's aesthetics were a blend of rustic old charm and classy minimalistic interiors . The beds were comfy, and the attention to detail in the design truly made the stay a one-of-a-kind experience.

Location (4.5/5): The place offered a quiet and relaxing environment away from the usual tourist hustle. It was easily accessible to nearby market and the popular attractions (just 2 mins away)

Service (5/5): The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make our stay special. Their passion for the property's uniqueness added an extra layer of charm to our experience.

Dining (5/5): It provided wide array sumptuous dishes for all the meals. The taste was so rich and couldn't have asked for more!

Facilities (4.5/5): The outdoor space was truly the highlight. As it's nestled amidst nature so it's filled with greenery around and huge space for playing badminton and other outdoor activities. The also have activities like rope walk, tyre walk, etc which catered to our adventurous side.

Overall Experience (5/5): The place is an absolute delight and a relaxing one. Every moment spent was quite comfortable and rejuvenating. It was a perfect staycation for our family.

We had a truly delightful experience during our stay at this hotel. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the staff, we were impressed by the beautiful ambience and well-maintained surroundings. The property is thoughtfully designed, offering both comfort and a range of engaging activities. We stayed at Amaravathy, the Premium Suite, which offered a comfortable experience.

One of the highlights was the variety of recreational options available, especially for kids. They thoroughly enjoyed the ziplining, badminton, and frisbee areas – perfect for keeping them active and entertained throughout the day.

The food did not quite meet our expectations, but we chose to overlook it as the staff was extremely cooperative and receptive to our feedback. The breakfast buffet was particularly impressive, featuring a diverse spread with dishes from different cuisines. It catered to all palates and was a great way to start each day.

One suggestion I would like to offer is to consider adding lights near the mirrors, which would greatly enhance convenience and visibility. If you’re someone who loves taking photos, this place is perfect for you. The resort also offers a variety of other activities, though we couldn’t explore them all due to limited time. The pool was excellent, with the water at just the right temperature—making for a perfect and refreshing experience.
