Cafe Grill Kumily — Restaurant in Kerala

Cafe Grill, Thekkady Being a small hill town, it's natural to go around the same few roads on all the days we stayed here and spotted Cafe Grill on multiple occasions. It was on the last day of our travel that we decided to dine here and we just loved the food! We tried the pepper al-faham Mandi, which was delicious, and the quantity was simply crazy! 4 people could barely eat half the rice provided. Generous amount of beautifully crispy prawn 65 and chicken lollipop that was spicy and all things Indian manchurian were the other things we ordered. Since language was a barrier, we still could have a decent conversation with the staff, who was really sweet and accommodating. Their real highlight for me was the falooda, which was honestly brilliant!! Totally recommend this place if you are in Thekkady 😋😍 Super pocket...

Had food in the restaurant for more than 10 times where basically we use to get good food and treats well , and on the date 16th July 2025 we came for a bday treat and ordered pepper mandhi which was not been so good and the mayonnaise used is exactly full of watery which was 0% satisfied and good which did literally disappointed us and when we said this in the counter the response was like not accepting that fact and they started questioning us telling reasons which was not at all appropriate nd good to respond in this way which made us feel not to come back here again ... which really disappointed us . 4-4-2024 evening I went to this restaurant and order al faham mandhi. First they service the dips and salads on very cheap quality plates even the plate is broken they are not consider it. After they changed the plate and serve again. Also they served the juice on some old glasses. After waiting some time the mandhi was served but it's not a perfect one I feel they made it morning and serving till evening. Food quality is very poor and the service is also very poor. When I complain it they told that they have minimum plates and accessories only. Never suggest...
