whatever we ordered was served in 10 to 15 mins. so 3 stars for that. However, I ordered phulka and I am absolutely sure that the one served was just a half-cooked chappathi cooked over a grill. when asked "भाई यह फुल्का नहीं लग रहा, यह तो half-cooked chappathi है। to this that guy's reply took me to north India for a moment . definitely not a kerala response...He simply said नहीं, and rushed back. so I ended up paying 25rs for a chappathi which actually costs 4 rs...😁. I have been eating half cooked chappathi on a daily basis since the last three years or so...and phulka I had since childhood...so it's not difficult to differentiate.

In Thekkady I dint knew of any veg restaurant so I had my lunch at a hotel where both options were there veg & non-veg , but when I reached near Periyaar National Park I saw a pure veg restaurant named Nava Jyoti , I saw there board it says pure veg , Gujarat Thali , Jain , Punjabi Thali , Marwadi Thali & many more options. I ordered my Jain dinner & within 10 minutes i received my food & it was amazing , it's worth coming & having the taste here , Quality is superb, & rates are reasonable . I highly recommend Vegetarians...

We visited in Dec 28, 2024. The wait time was 50 mins. Since we were with kids didn't.ake sense to scout another place. Seemed like only one server was waiting the table ferrying from kitchen to the tables. We are whatever we ordered and decided to leave and look for another place for additional food. The food seemed ok but zero service. The butter milk glass was pushed through the table spilling all over. There could have been a shortage of staff...but in a service industry...
