Hotel Malika Residency — Hotel in Kerala

Nice location on a main road with decent amenities nearby, considering the location. Personally felt that the rooms were decent, but it required prompting the hotel staff to rectify some issues with the AC and toilets. Overall, the staffs were nice enough to look into the issue and fix them to the best of their abilities.

Some negatives: Hotel was quick on locking their front entrance at night, probably for safety reasons, but it was a negative regardless. Would have been nice if there was a way for hotel guests to enter and exit the hotel during wee hours without looking for the receptionist. Hotel should also look into collecting some contact information of auto drivers, for booking transport for guests during after hours Hotel breakfast was terrible. Understandably, for the pricing, one would not expect a full course meal but a decently cooked meal would’ve been nice. Food was cold and bland Hotel bar, which also serves food, closes at 10pm. During peak season, having this bar open till at least midnight would’ve been great, for people to just get together and chill when everywhere else is closed. I strongly recommend the bar to offer shisha options in the future as well Open terrace rooftop was non-existent. The sheltered rooftop was extremely lacklustre for guests to chill...

I stayed for 24hours . Rooms are neat and clean only . The receptionist is gentle , but she is gently miss communicate the information. They said breakfast is not available here.only lunch and dinner we are providing and that's including with the price for 24hours .

I had really bad experience with the restaurant , I checked in evening so, I went for dinner To minimum items for vegitariens , They didn't give bill . Coz , if they , we didn't eat for tomorrow lunch . Before check in they said , it is including with the price . When we checkout , they will give restaurant bill.

They taken 2000 rs for 24hours , GST and other taxes are 400 rs .

I don't know about non vez . Coming to veg it is worst , limited options Served hot food is not enough , tasty with quality of food is important .

It is best place to stay near by Ettumanoor , but eat out side food only .

Stayed here for a single night with family and parents (2 AC deluxe rooms) on Dec 22, 2018. ||Pros:|Hotel lobby, corridors, and rooms were spacious enough and clean to the max. |Located hardly 700m away from Ettumanoor temple|Ample parking space in front of the hotel||Cons:|Hotel do have a bar attached and most of the evening time, parking space of hotel was filled with drunkards|MiniFridge available on one of the rooms were leaking and once we returned from temple, the whole room was totally wet making it hard for us to even step in with kids.|Restaurant was big enough to accommodate 30+ guests at a time, but though there were just 8-10 guests there, the ordered items did take more than 45 mins to reach us (nothing special ordered... Just dosa, appam, and poori). Even for lunch and dinner, the story was the same.
