Read moreReally had a great time here. I want to thank Ani for such a good stay and helping us every part of our vacation, like it's unimaginable the number of problems we could have faced if Ani hadn't figured things out for us. The people here are really great. Had a good experience with Ani & Sri. They are very welcoming. They helped us book auto at the middle of the night, also helped us with the scooty rental, without us even needing to go though the hassle of scooty renting, it was already at our doorstep when we arrived. He handled every single things we needed without any hesitation. Talking about the rooms, the rooms were great. Loved the ambiance and the homely vibe. The aesthetics of the rooms are just ✨✨ I would highly recommend this stay if you're ever visiting Varkala. We loved our entire stay, would love to visit again. The stay is basically 1km from the cliff and is just 10-15mins walk to the cliff (although i would recommend...

The room floor was dirty, and the walls had visible smears of who knows what. The outlets barely worked (had to fiddle for a long time to get an Indian or EU plug to fit, and despite appearing to be “universal” outlets, US plugs didn’t get any power at all).
Private rooms here aren’t very cheap compared to other options in Varkala, and this place is a serious trek (through often flooded roads) from the beach, so I’d recommend looking elsewhere for a place where the staff know what...
