Princess Residency — Hotel in Kerala

Took two double non a/c room. They call if double deluxe non a/c room. But, I didn’t why it’s called a deluxe room. The room was just filthy. Especially, the bathroom. The doors had some white markings all over. The mirror inside also had some white markings and we were not able to see clearly on the mirror. The bathroom sink was not properly clean. There hair and all stuck and the water was getting clogged. Even though the windows were closed and the bathroom door was closed, mosquitoes somehow get in the room. The walls of the room were all falling apart (the paint). The bath towel given was also filthy. Not clean at all, the towels. They also don’t provide drinking water. There were some water in jug even before we got in the room. We can’t say how long it has been kept there. Should have at least provided a mineral water bottle in the rooms as you call it deluxe room. Check-in takes a long time. It’s the first place I see that needs the ID cards of everyone staying. I have stayed in many hotels in lot of places but, no other place asks for ID card of everyone. Since, we were not aware. One of our member didn’t have his ID card with him. They, didn’t allow the other 3 members get in the room while the other person is waiting to receive his ID card as a photo from his home. Even, after telling the other two members were a lady and a child. We reached there at 01:15 AM and we were only allowed to enter the filthy room at 02:00 AM. Check-out at 09:00 AM. Horrible experience. Don’t ever expect anything luxurious when you go here. I won’t recommend this place to anyone. It was also very expensive. For the condition of the room that it was in,...

I stayed in a Non-AC room in the ground floor of this facility which has got nothing to boast barring it's proximity to the airport. The room was extremely dingy, with absolute zero ventilation. You'll be left in pitch dark even in broad daylight, if the lights were off. I asked for another room, to which they politely obliged. The replacement room was again more or less the same except that it had a minute view of the road outside and a strand of light creeping in, enough to temporarily heal my newfound claustrophobic self.

Needless to say, the room was very quiet - which was also quite creepy at times. Also found myself in four power cuts (two in the night), during my stay that lasted barely a day.

Hot water wasn't available but I was okay with it. The bedspread, towel, and pillows weren't clean either. Bathroom showed signs of old age, but was surprisingly neat.

Terrible experience, these people don't even deserve a 1 ⭐ rating. I've booked the room through MakeMyTrip and they treated us too worstly as we are vagrant. I believe its how they treat people who book rooms via online portals. This hotel is not at all recommended for family and the staff's behaviour is very rude. I have never seen such an unhygienic hotel. By seeing bedsheets itself it is clearly evident that they have not changed it for a longer period. They didn't provided a blanket. Whilst, almost of the hotels will provide it. Also, I found something funny that they have placed their landphone on the floor rather than placing it on a table. Anyways, am sure they are gonna revert to prove me wrong to secure their future bookings. Hence, I am attaching few photos that better describes on how pathetic this...
