Shivam Hotel — Hotel in Kolkata

Shivam hotel is located just beside sealdah railway station, or you can say in between sealdah railway station to NRS medical college and hospital. Rooms are really in good condition. And the main attractive part is variation of room price. You can choose any room between Rs 800 to Rs 2000 per day. The main difference between lower price room and higher price room is only the size. Other accommodations are almost same . You will get well furnished room with geyser in rs 800/day also. The hotel room was average , but there was no lift in the hotel. The hotel staff at night is very rude. I am booking one night in an AC room but they didn't give me the ac remote. Check out time is so wrong. At 8 the a.m check out time is not good for all people. After check out time they can't stay there, not only 15 min. I am very disappointed with the night service staff behaviour....

When I reached the hotel and asked them for room they refused to give me a room. Cause is I’m living inside 200km from hotel. I needed a room for few hours to use the washroom. I admitted my mother to BR Singh Hospital in critical condition and staying on hospital premises from the last 3 days. Just need to refresh myself here. Such a shame to have a hotel...
