Beach Symphony Resort — Hotel in Maharashtra

After reading evaluations on various booking portals, I booked 4 rooms for 11 members (9 adults + 2 kids) for a single day. The prices for one day were (Rs 3500 including taxes) per room which included breakfast, which was too exorbitant given the amenities provided. We also paid Rs 1800 for an additional mattress and breakfast for 2 kids in one of the rooms. The location is decent. The resort is within walking distance of the beach. These folks assert a lot of things that aren't true:- Check-in was fine, however there was no bellboy to assist you with getting your stuff from your car to your room. No housekeeping personnel are available. Security: There was no security personnel at the gate or in the immediate vicinity. All of the door locks were loose or faulty, with no repairs made ever since installation. Air conditioning: This air conditioning unit is supposed to work...but it doesn't, and the remote is simply for show. The TV device is simply mounted on the wall and regularly disconnects. Wifi: Only reaches one room, and only at a specified position... Even mobile signal is not received in other rooms. Restaurant: We only had breakfast, which was limited and served in a very little portion, with an average taste.  Suhas Bapat Khanaval, which serves the finest food in the area, was chosen for dinner. When we complained about the AC units not working and other issues we encountered throughout our stay, the owner (mother of Mr. Kshitij) got into an argument with us and told we couldn't do anything about it.

Mr. Kshitij, the owner, was not at all available to help. After receiving so many negative comments/ reviews theses folks have not improved their services, nor their rude behavior towards guests has changed. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had and I would never suggest...

Planned for a stay in Mar 2022. Location is kind of good not excellent. Check in was fine and also had some issue in the first room so changed the room that also was done in a good way. No one helps you for the luggage pick up from your car to the room ....we had a lot of things as we also had taken our pet alongwith us for this vacation. None of the rooms will be beach facing....as the beach is at a distance from the resort. Now let's talk about the food Breakfast is limited and very small portion ( taste is good though) Lunch Day 1 was ok....we ordered egg thali and one veg thali...( Taste was not so good but edible😀😀😂🤣) Dinner - this is where it all started they asked us to order at around 4:30 / 5 in the evening...which is ok as they may have to plan... So we asked for menu options ( no al a carte menu options available here) We asked them to prepare breakfast item like thalipeeth, Puri bhaji or anything that is easy for them, they refused. We altered the order asked them for पिठलं भाकरी which the said if anyone else will order for same food we will prepare else we cannot provide you. Then we said ok then give us पिठलं भात, again the said no and finally some how we convinced them to atleast prepare dal khichadi / khichadi for us.

Finally we got some food which was not that good for taste but we atleast got something to eat that night.

Due to this attitude and behaviour we ended up having shezwan noodles and momos the other day lunch and had pizza for dinner in the in kokan.....worst experience would never recommend this resort.

Sorry to say this Mr. Kshitij the owner who was not at all available to sort this out ....anyways...lesson...

Stayed at this hotel on 30th December 2021. No one was there to attend us at reception. Very strict rules on hot water availability, breakfast and check out time. We asked for extra set of towel but it was denied as they give only once a day!! We requested them to allow check out at 11 am instead of 10 am, but it was very rudely denied. Rude tone was appearing to us as " check out till 10 am and get out after that". Room dont have provision to hang dry and wet cloths. Water leakage from commode pipe in room #106. Very limited breakfast option. Food quality of veg breakfast is average. No tea ketel or tea bags in room. Hot water is available for limited time in the morning and evening. No early tea available before 7.30 am. No one was there to attend complaints/ questions .in the morning at reception before 7.30 am. Very poor hospitality. Very pathetic common washroom if you happen to use resturant washroom. We have fortunately taken veg meals in another resturant. It is more like a hostel rules than a hotel ( No hospitality!!). Giving 1 star for awsome location. Room are overpriced !! Rs.3600 per night is very expensive for...
