We visited this place last month during our two day trip. This place was not having proper fans. We had to sit near the window in hot summer where we were getting direct sunlight. We had ordered 8 veg thalis. They got 9 to the table. When asked to take one away they counted the number of people on the table. ( my grandma was not having food as she was fasting)The food was pretty average and they had mentioned chole in the menu but what we got in the plate was just watery mixed matki usal. After this we ordered extra rotis. They got 4 and we just needed 3 so we asked them to take one back. For the billing the person who was at the counter included the rate of 4 extra rotis. We told him that we sent one back. Then he asked the person who was serving us to confirm and that person said he doesn't remember!! At this point we had to leave for Pune as it was already 4pm and it takes around 5-6 hours to reach. We told him that can you please do this quickly as everyone was already seated in the bus. The person on counter rudely responded saying it's your fault you came late!! Before this it was just about confirming whether they needed to add the price of one roti which we did not have. There are some ethics to treat people who are visiting your restaurant! This person was extremely rude to us! And the overall experience was hell! To be frank if I could rate 0 stars I would give that. After a point I asked my aunt to pay for that extra roti as those people were not having any idea how much they had served and we had to leave! Worst experience and I do not recommend this...
Read moreA must visit ppace when yourl are in Diveagar. I was on my eay to Dive agar and as a practice when you atr in dive agar you have to place your lunch or dinner well ahead of time to get Hot sumptuous food on time. Diveagar is badly affected by the hurricane Nirag in June 2020. There is no cellular network for whole day except for few places like beaches or Borli village. We tried all our ways to place our finner orser in time but all our efforts were in vain. I reached at Rane Khanawal around 8.30pm and asked whether we can get food or not, one of the owner politely Yes and further we asked for some more time to go to the home stay get freshnup and then come back for the dinner. He agreed and served a hot dinner with Amazingly fresh and tasty Prawns Rawa Fry. I visited the place very next day for dinner and ordered Surmai Thali. It was delicious and fish was super fresh with hot spicy rassa. Now they also have a separate parking space next to hotel so you can park your vehicle ijnfront of you. When you are visiting Dive agar Ranes is...
Read moreBig No to this restaurant. Stale food, tasteless preparation. Don't go by the name. There are many other food joints in the same area offering home made authentic taste konkani Thali items. The surmai/ pomfret thali comes with only 2 chapati, rassa, one small fish fry, small bowl rice.
Other places they offer 3 chapati, Kokam solkadhi and better quantity of rice. Only advantage is there is parking for 6 - 7 cars available here. Taste, service is worst. I swear, don't waste your money and spoil your mood due to the bad quality of food.
They keep fried fish stock and serve as footfall is more due to some false Google reviews. Others eateries fry the Fish only after order.
Walk around Go for homely food prepared by individual House (Khanaval) with sitting...
