There are some experiences which are awesome, but not because of the hospitality, but because of the company we are in. We, group of 3 friends with our families, booked wooden cottages here, had two day package containing Bus Travel to and fro Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar. In Rs. 12000 (per couple), we got 2N2D package which includes AC sleeper bus journeys, Non-AC rooms, full day meals, 2 half day sight seeings, during peak vacation season. But, there were many things left wanted, which I believe can be improved upon. Many things specified on the reception, which are not available or at a cost. Overall, satisfied due to the cost we paid, Go only if you feel that the amount is worth to ignore the Cons given below. REMEMBER THE EXAMPLE (ITNE PAISE MAIN ITNA HI MILEGA) Pros: 1. Budget friendly, big spacious resort 2. 10 mins walk from market 3. Sight seeing cab, shared between 2 couples, with comprehensive coverage of Mahabaleshwar/Panchgani and Pratapgarh (extra to be paid if cab used over time of 4 hrs) 4. Kids playing area, small ground for function or group sport 5. Swimming pool (with kids swim area) 6. Weekend DJ, playing songs of your choice 7. Good rooms (only for wooden cottages, where we stayed, rest, don't know) 8. Payable option of bonfire (could have been complimentary) 9. Good Tea and Coffee 10. Ice cream parlor and rentable Hookahs available in premises. Cons: 1. Sulking staff (couldn't see many smiling faces barring 1-2 people, probably they are underpaid for the load of work they do) 2. Mandatory service not available until asked for: a. No drinking water in room unless asked, dirty jugs and glasses b. Towels given only when asked, 2nd day, new guests received towels, but existing guests given this pathetic excuse that towels were not dry due to previous night rains, got towels only late in evening c. Bath tub available, but not clean on check in (not in a usable condition) d. Broken door lock at check-in, they replaced lock only after request, should be pro active e. Room cleaning satisfactory, not up to mark, bed sheets not changed on daily basis. f. No intercom available, walk till reception for any service request g. Public Wifi accessible only in few rooms h. No geyser, hot water available only for limited time, starting 8 am, too late for a 9 am check out. 4. Public Jacuzzi and Rain Dance at pool not functional 5. Food (Rating Average tending to Pathetic), probably, because of low budget. 6. Rooms infested with big spiders and ants, probably due to presence of lot of trees around (but could be avoided by spraying/keeping insect repellants in rooms). An entire ant colony raided my room, problem solved immediately due to a cleaner available on the spot, otherwise it could have been big trouble for my family. 7. Room mini fridge non functional (we had to use reception fridge to store perishables, which we bought from shopping)

Very pathetic experience. 1- there is no hot water facility. reception person said you will get hot water in the morning for 1 hr . We left that place early in the morning therefore i didn’t verify it 2- Surrounding around my room was so smelly that no one can even stand there for one minute. They kept the dustbins very close to the room (see photos) may be that’s the reason but smell was so strong that it might be due to leaked drainage pipe. I companied about smell but reception person didn’t act or didn’t do anything. 3- they provide food but all dalada 4- swimming pool was there but it was so crowded that i preferred to stay away from it. 5- There was fungus on the wall.(see photos) 6- There were spiders and lizards in the room(see photo) 7-They has sofa cum bed in executive room but you can sit on it. It was that dirty. 8- intercom is not there. 9- reception is available till 10or 10.30pm. I went there to ask for extra bedsheets. One person was sleeping and watching mobile. he almost shouted at me that why were you coming so late to ask for bedsheets. They have tie up with one travel company which brings guest from mumbai in travel bus therefore hotel don’t care about individual booking.

Blue Park Hotel is an excellent choice for travellers visiting Mahabaleshwar, offering many helpful amenities designed to enhance your stay. Given the close proximity of popular landmarks, such as Carnac Point (2.3 km) and Sunset Point (2.3 km), guests of Blue Park Hotel can easily experience some of Mahabaleshwar's most well known attractions. Guest rooms offer air conditioning. You can also take advantage of some of the amenities offered by the small hotel, including room service. In addition, guests can enjoy a restaurant during their visit. As an added convenience, there is free parking available to guests. If you are looking for a good Indian restaurant, you may want to check out The Grapevine, Bagicha Corner, or Saayali Restaurant while staying at Blue Park Hotel. If you’re looking for something to do, Dhobi Waterfall (0.1 km) is a nice way to spend some time, and it is within walking distance of Blue Park Hotel. Enjoy your stay in Mahabaleshwar! This hotels also provide sightseeing with really affordable cost , but be aware of monkies 😊

We booked the Hotel from OYO app for 03 nights atleast 02 weeks in advance an we got the confirmation after paying the tariff online.|When we were about to reach mahabaleshwar we got the message that the rooms are not available. So we immediately contacted Hotel Authorities he said they can allot rooms only for 1 instead 0f 3 nights as booked. As we were with family and ut was evening we agrees to it and as soon we reach Hotel we contacted OYO call centre and spoke to them for over an hour as they kept on hold and kept on transferring the call. i.e passing the buck the call got connected again we kept and wasted another 1 hour but they said they will give resolution by night again they said by morning. But no response. Finally we got the number of OYO manager Mr Vimal who handles Mahabaleshwar. Apoke to him at length and he was also not able to help. He suggested to book again from OYO and pay and he will arrange for refund for previous booking. |Really it spoiled our vacation mood as it was a weekend and it took 4 hrs to find a suitable property by paying 2X of regular tariff.|The property Manager said that they are overbooked and booking was completed because of a OYOs website problem. It cannot be true they informed us on the day of checkin that too at 2pm that booking is cancelled.|It clearly says the Hotel management might have got some fresh bookings at higher tariff hence were refusing previous ones. Even our next door neighbours got the same problem.|This kind of attitude have never seen in hospitable and service industry.|Even OYO team wasted hours talking to the phone atleast they could have provided the alternative properties which they did not. OYO manager Vimal also did not wanted to help. As if he would have spoken to hotel management that how can u deny a confirm booking. Hotel management would had definitely allotted and honoured the previous booking.|The learning is while booking from OYO pl before starting the trip confirm with Hotel and try to look out for alternate accomodatoon in case something goes wrong.|Now comjng to property.|Pros. Huge Property| Spacious Duplex Rooms| Decent swimming pool and small games rooms.|Good atmosphere.||Cons.Hygiene issues were their Bedsheets linen were very dirty.|Staff keeps on knocking door from 7 am for all not petty things like Hot water started. they want to clean the room etc and thus spoiling your sleep quality.|1 more incident happened on day of check in my family was inside the room while i was sitting outside a male staff entered the room without knocking when i asked him he said he works their and want to take some playing equipment. I said but atleast u should knock and go he replied since they work here they go like that only. Very surprising reply from the staff after that we locked the door from inside.|Breakfast was very limited that is Uttappa...

I recently had the unfortunate experience of staying at Nature Resort (Blue Park Resort), and I must say, it was far from the relaxing getaway I had hoped for. From the moment I arrived, the shortcomings of this resort became glaringly obvious.

No WiFi and Internet Connectivity issues: First and foremost, the lack of essential amenities such as Wi-Fi was incredibly frustrating. In today's interconnected world, the absence of Wi-Fi makes it difficult to stay in touch with loved ones or attend to important matters.

Unhygienic Rooms: The complete disregard for cleanliness and hygiene standards was appalling. The rooms were unkempt, with evidence of poor sanitation evident throughout the premises.

Tasteless Food: As if the lack of cleanliness wasn't bad enough, the quality of the food served at the resort was utterly tasteless. Each meal was a disappointment, lacking in flavor and presentation. It's disheartening to pay for a dining experience only to be met with mediocrity at every turn.

Rats in Room: To make matters worse, the presence of rats in the rooms was a horrifying discovery. Their fecal matter was left behind as a grim reminder of the unsanitary conditions. This is simply unacceptable and poses a serious health risk to guests.

Monkeys in Pool: The presence of monkeys taking a dip in the swimming pool and playing at the kids' park was not only unexpected but also a safety concern. It's alarming that the resort management did not take measures to prevent such incidents, putting the well-being of guests, especially children, at risk.

No hot water 24x7: Furthermore, the absence of hot water services for the duration of my stay was incredibly inconvenient. A basic necessity such as hot water should be readily available, especially in a resort setting where guests expect comfort and convenience.

Early Checkout: Lastly, the nonsensical policy of an early checkout time of 8:30 AM is baffling. This early departure time disrupts any hope of enjoying a leisurely morning and makes no practical sense for guests who wish to maximize their time at the resort.

In conclusion, my experience at was nothing short of disappointing at Nature Resort (Blue Park Resort). From the lack of essential amenities to the subpar cleanliness standards and unpalatable food, this resort failed to meet even the most basic expectations. I strongly advise against staying here until significant improvements are made to address...
