Farmhouse Bistro Restaurant — Restaurant in Maharashtra

Ok then... Although you would expect this place to be a typical Dhaba type as it's on Thane Nashik highway, you'll change your perception as soon as you park your vehicle in front of Bistro's entrance!!

What i liked - Grand entrance & magnificent interior as well as arrangement of tables / cabins / huts. Luckily i could witness live music.. The singer was singing irresistibly awesome nd that made our night. Great news is - BYOL -(Bring your own liquor) is allowed. Mgmt. Will just charge 100rs per person in that case additionally. Food quality was nice. Nice ambience. Courteous staff. Hygiene maintained.

Dislikes - Liquor served there is hell costly. Better to carry your own. No access to atm nearby. Better to carry a heavy cash if going with big group to avoid last minute surprise in case card payment doesn't work. No access to public transport tha easily at odd hrs it being just at highway. Better plan your travel back to home smartly if you're gonna be late to check out.

WORST PART - hotel mgmt asked me to pay 200 rs. Extra over & above the hefty 24000+ bill we paid just because someone from our group had puked after getting high on drinks. Hotel mgmt staff said they charge extra in such cases.

I mean seriously? I'm paying 24K for food & drinks which is quite huge and you want me to pay additionally 200 just because some of guest puked by mistake?? Hv you guys lost it??

We visited this place after seeing good reviews on Google. Since it was my birthday, thought of going here to celebrate the occasion. We went in the afternoon and it was almost 90% empty. So thought of sitting on a large table with good view. The server flat out refused to let us sit saying you are only 2 people. We said that its my birthday so want a good table and if more people come in, we'll vacate and shift in to a smaller one. Yet they were adamant and made us sit inside. This is even when there were just couple of guests.

We didn't leave as it was already too late to find another good restaurant, so sat and ordered. The service from the servers was also slow. They simply paid attention to rich looking guests. Till the entire duration of our stay, the tables were empty.

Such an experience already dampened our mood. Atleast, the food had some saving grace. It was delicious, the drinks were also good. But preferential treatment given to guests was a huge negative point.

Simply an amazing place. A must visit for all the foodies visiting Mahabaleshwar. The restaurant is very tastefully designed, the dishes are even more tastefully thought of and put the menu. I could not even find a single.dish that I had heard of before. The ingredients that were being used where of very high quality and the preparation was all the more authentic. The Cuttery being used was also amazing. I can not stop praising the people running the place , the serving staff and the kind off service that was offered. Minute details were also taken care off. Things like garlic oil and chilly oil being served with the pizza, the cheese being used, the portions being served everything was just out of the word. I can not say which dish to try and which one to not because all the dishes we're amazing. But the pizza and the sweatdish...
