Hotel Silver Inn Mahabaleshwar — Hotel in Maharashtra

I have given this rating considering various factors and the situations we faced. When I booked it, didn't realize it is too far from main center.. it is almost near to Panchgani, though it is so called M'swar. When I reached it is almost 9pm as it was heavy traffic enroute the destination hotel.

pros- 1. Initially the owner was helpful to guide the route as it is bit inside off main road, we are struggling with the network to get the direction. Only one guy named Shiva was helpful with good behavior.

cons - when we reached, the room,was not clean though it was 9PM. washroom was looking unhygienic. We have to wait for almost 1 hr to get it cleaned. Running hot water was not there. They told that hot water is available only between 7-10 AM but morning also there was no hot water, after calling so many times they gave us 1 bucket hot water. Only after calling multiple times to the reception they were answering the call. Night around 10PM we ordered for the food.. they took almost 1 -1:30hr to serve. we have been requesting them to bring the dinner ASAP as our 5 year kid was hungry..We had to literally stand on the kitchen to make our order done. Requested the owner many times to meet so that would have given the feedback in that night itself. However he was busy. Fan was not working too. Requested for a zero power bulb as once you switch off the main light, room was complete dark. This was not arranged. The hotel boy was very arrogant many of times.

Overall not a good hotel to stay...

A good place to spend time from your hustle bustle life and enjoy the nature peace and birds chirping.Hotel is budget friendly so we stayed for 3 days 2 nights cost around 4k.We booked deluxe balcony room which is spacious and clean and hot water is available.Its is situated between Mahabaleshwar and Panchagani in Bhilar Village area.Located in a posh area.Keep that in mind same hotels have different branches in Mahabaleshwar so booked according to your location Preference as Panchgani market was 5 km from hotel so every time we have to booked a local taxi to go to any place as from hotel the main road is around 1 km where you will get the local taxi.Hotel is manage by caretaker so they are very friendly and in house food is also available.Its a homely cooked food and your will definitely loved it.We ordered bhindi masala, chicken dry and jeera rice delicious and In evening after we had Kanda bhaji(must try) with tea in the garden area you will love the atmosphere. Cost will be little bit higher side from other outside hotels but you will love the taste and feel of home. The hotel location and view was so beautiful and peaceful that you will love it's surrounded by lots of trees. Don't forget to ask for extra blankets as it gets chilly at night due to the surroundings.Overall great experience. In house cabs service was also available if you want to explore the location. Hotel silver inn, the best of best experience. Checked in on 8 Dec 2018 with family (3 couples) and checked out on 9 Dec 2018. The guy Mr. Tajuddin is very helpful. We were getting late in dinner at outside and suddenly we plan to have wine at hotel in the night but that was approx 9:30 PM, I called to Mr. Tajuddin and asked if he can arrange the same and he went himself to buy it for us from wines hope. Very much helpful. We had planned to have bonfire in the night, the guy arranged that in hotel garden without any extra charges :) we were so happy. Due to winter, garden & floor was so cool, they provided little table like item to seat around bonfire. We asked if they can provide the speakers so that we can play the music around bonfire and they provided it. We could get opportunity to taste the breakfast next day, Poha was good in taste and tea also nice. The overall experience was good and yes, next time definitely we will consider this hotel if we planned to tour next time there. Also they helped us to understand the spots near by that can be visit.
