Hey so called owner! - this is a reply to your arrogant response.
First and foremost, get your facts in order before you put the blame on the customer. If you have a cctv footage of our table, review it for the time between we placed the order and the first order that came.. you'll be surprised yourself and make you Q the honesty of your manager. Don't blindly post on social media without reviewing the facts. We came with a family and a toddler to dine and not behave rudely. Additionally, nobody mentioned about the 1 hr waiting time. No customer will agree to wait for 1hr to be served ordinary food. Stop bluffing your way out.
Secondly, how do you justify the pathetic taste of your food? I suppose your manager tasted that too and bluffed it was delicious. Like i mentioned, it wasn't even worth feeding the stray dogs! You aren't doing a favour or charity by feeding people. We are paying for it from our pocket and customers expect quality.
Your waiter that served us, himself acknowledged the delay and apologized unlike the rude and arrogance of your manager and yourself. You might want to give him a raise or end up loosing him to better restaurants. He is better suited to be a restaurant owner than you. And yes, he was calm, smiling and nowhere in tears like you falsely claim to get public sympathy.
You would have asked us to leave? Are you joking or are you always so bird brained? No one in the right frame of mind will ever visit your restaurant again even if you give the food for free.
You probably want to relook at your manager. I walked off till my car and I walked back in to pay the bill out of sheer courtesy and manners. Something that is clearly missing with you. I sincerely regret showing courtesy here. Owners like you deserve to loose every penny for your arrogance.
You clearly underestimate the consumer or are a rookie in this industry. Customer pay money for prompt service and quality, something that you both lack and on top of that have the sheer audacity to defend your actions. With such an attitude, I don't see you lasting more than a few years in business.
With your sheer rudeness, I assume you have never managed a professional restaurant before & have just started this venture with some surplus inheritance.
Fortunately, restaurants around are extremely prompt in their services and go out of the way to hold a customer. It's in your best interest to close your books and sell it off to someone capable. Also this is not my first visit to Panchgani. Don't try to bluff your way out.

Original message: We visited Paradise by Meher Cafe with a family of 8 people in August 2024. While the ambience was decent, the service is pathetic and extremely slow to say the least. We patiently waited for approx 45 mins for a simple fried rice, chicken gravy, and mutton berry pulav. The pulav was terrible and tasted like raw masalas cooked with rice and boiled tiny mutton pieces. We did not even finish half and laughed that its not even worth packing the remaining for the dogs at our hotel. Then, the fresh lime water took another 30 mins. We lost our patience, cancelled the order and called for the bill. The bill did not come for another 15 mins. Eventually we got up and started waking out towards our car. Even then, there was no response from them. However as a courtesy, I walked back to pay the bill. When I called out about the pathetic service to the owner, he started justifying and defending and did not even apologize once. Infact the poor waiter started apologizing instead of the owner.
As a gesture of goodwill, he did not even offer a discount for spoiling our family meal (not that I really care). I regret coming back and paying the bill and should have just driven off. He could have done nothing about it. Food: 1/5 Ambience: 2/5 Service: 0/5 @Owner - Pls shut your restaurant. Clearly you have 0 experience in...
Read moreI recently had the opportunity to dine at Meher Cafe in Panchgani, and I must say that it exceeded my expectations in terms of food quality, pricing, and service. The restaurant's ambiance is cozy and inviting, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a delicious meal.
One of the standout dishes that I highly recommend is the Russian Cutlet. It was perfectly cooked, with a crunchy exterior and a flavorful filling. The combination of spices used was just right, making it a delightful appetizer to start the meal.
Another dish that caught my attention was the Chicken Farcha. The chicken was tender and juicy, and the coating had a lovely spiciness to it. It was served with a tangy dip that complemented the flavors beautifully.
For the main course, I tried the Chicken Berry Pulao, and it was a true delight. The rice was cooked to perfection, with each grain separating easily. The chicken was perfectly cooked and had a subtle sweetness from the berries. This dish truly showcases the expertise of the chef.
One of the aspects that impressed me the most about Meher Cafe was their reasonable pricing. Despite the high-quality ingredients and taste, the prices were quite affordable, making it a fantastic value for money.
The prompt service also deserves a special mention. The staff was friendly, attentive, and efficient. They ensured that all our requests were promptly attended to, creating an excellent dining experience.
“Special Thanks To Sagar. For Being Humble, Honest and Helpful, He Suggested And Served Proper Portions For Avoiding Food Waste. Appreciate The Training Given By Management”
In conclusion, if you are in Panchgani and looking for a place with good food, reasonable prices, and prompt service, Meher Cafe is a must-visit. Don't miss out on trying their Russian Cutlet, Chicken Farcha, and Chicken Berry Pulao. Your taste buds...
Read moreHad dined at this Restaurant earlier when it was located in Hotel Onella Regency opp the ST Depot in Panchgani and called Meher Cafe and the Food was Absolutely Delicious. Meher Cafe no more exists at Hotel Onella Regency and a new Restaurant called Parradise has been opened by them on the Panchgani-Mahabaleshwar Road near the Bhilar Village turning opp the Petrol Pump. This Restaurant is quite large, spacious and airy with plenty of seating at 2 levels as well. It is not Airconditioned, but has Ceiling Fans and is fairly cool, so no issues there. It is also tastefully decorated and has a lovely, cosy ambience with uniformed staff as well. There is place to park about 2-3 cars outside, but no more. Having had a Great Experience at Meher Cafe, our expectations of this new, larger restaurant were quite high, but sadly we were very disappointed. Since we had ordered Mutton Dhansak the last time, we were recommended Mutton Sali Boti which the Manager claimed was also one of their Specialties, which we had with Brun Maska, followed by Caramel Custard for Dessert. While the Brun Maska was Excellent, both the Muttom Sali Boti and Caramel Custard were Very Disappointing. The Mutton Sali Boti was made with a regular Onion based Gravy, was served Cold and had hardly any taste. We had to ask them to Warm it up to be able to eat it. The Caramel Custard had Bread in it and was not tasty at all. Even though it was Lunchtime, we were the only Patrons in the Restaurant. Sadly our experience this time was so poor, that we too wouldn't be visiting this place again. As it is, Rustoms Strawberry Cafe (which is also nearby) has gone to seed and now with Meher/Parradise also disappointing, there is no place that serves Good Parsi Food in the area and this will...
