Terrible experience

we booked this place for a family vacation to celebrate my daughter's birthday. it turned out to be a true nightmare for our entire family. firstly the photos of the place are deceptive. we booked it through travel operators thrillophilia and this bungalow is not listed in their property, so I cannot give a review on their website. The hygiene in the place is poor. Bed sheets and linen stink and were torn or bitten by mice. I found a bandage old abd used in my linen and had allergies all night due to the poor quality of linen. The pool is very dirty, although someone comes to clean it early morning. But I do not know what water they use, my daughter was down with stomach flu for 2 days post the visit due to pool water. she may have swallowed some. The kitchen was stinking and was not equipped with proper vessels and crockery. No one comes to wash and clean the vessels. One lady turned up at night and did entire days vessels. we ordered disposable plates finally. the staff is unhygienic, anyone keeps popping up at the villa (so called run down place) and does not wear a mask. without being judgemental i can say the staff did not even shower. no covid safety precautions were taken. Booking was not co-ordinated properly , in house bawarchi charged 8 k and did not deliver upto promise. he had to be shaken up to give meals at proper timings and needed supervision all the time. we were told checkout timing is 12, but the staff hounded us a day before to leave at 11. and kept coming at 10- 1030 to hound us to leave. we anyways did not want to stay, but had a one year old baby whose timings had to be managed last minute. the villa folks charged us 46k on weekend night, which was our hard earned flushed down the toilet drain. And yes their toliets did not work too, had broken seats..we were aghast with the staff, the property abd hygiene and my celebratory experience was turned into a nightmare. NEVER BOOK THIS PLACE OR ANYTHING THROUGH...

Would highly recommend this place for a weekend family getaway, located very close on old Mumbai Goa highway, 4 clean well maintained bedrooms, fully furnished small but nice swimming pool, extremely efficient caretaker and an awesome cook who stays in the premises. All in all the perfect place to unwind and not worry about a thing...
