Villa Seven, Lonavala, amã Stays & Trails — Hotel in Maharashtra

First time staying at ama Stays and Villa Seven, I wouldn't say it was a bad experience and not a good one either. The place has a lot of potential but cries for maintenance. Let's start with the location, I loved the location as it was far from the hustle bustle of Lonavala but yet very close to attraction points. The Bunglow looks beautiful from outside and inside too. Rooms are tastefully decorated but that looks like it was done 2 years back. The view from the rooms is calming especially in the morning as one can see birds in the garden and mountains on the other side. The theatre room was my favourite as we spent 2 nights watching movies with kids. The lift was very helpful for my mom a senior citizen with a knee issue. The breakfast was delicious and kept us full till lunch time, the only problem was the rates for lunch and dinner were overpriced and we had to order food from out which did not make any sense. The garden is beautiful but needs some plastic chairs especially when you just want to sit outside and enjoy the dance of fireflies. Easy and accessable to reach, however the positive news ends there. The rooms are stuffy and dusty. The power keeps going off and even when it doesn't, the ACs don't function as expected. The dinning area is tiny which makes movement restricted. Disappointing...
