FabHotel Galaxy Inn — Hotel in Mumbai

Do not believe the edited photos you see on the Google page of this hotel. The only good thing about the rooms are that they are more spacious compared to most Mumbai hotel rooms. Apart from that, everything else is bad. The hotel (a motel is more like it) is small, one storied and with no parking space, situated in a busy small market lane. The rooms were damp and moist and you could smell the mould in the air. The walls are woren down with dampness and mould and the sheets were not very clean. The bed mattress was hard and wasn't a comfortable experience. The guy at the reception table seemed uneducated and didn't allow us to checkout because the Treebo booking site was showing some pending amount (even though the complete amount was prepaid) and didn't let us go even after the Treebo team's interventions till the owner was contacted and he gave a go ahead. We were sitting in the lobby (one sofa with some leg room) for more than 30 minutes till this got resolved.

Over all, a pathetic experience. Wouldn't recommend this place considering that the room costed...

Short review - do not book this hotel. Long review - The rooms are small and dirty. Feels like the bedsheets are 1000 years old and haven't been washed in ages. Nothing to prevent mosquitoes. They will only provide you 1 bottle of mineral water, any more you will have to pay for it. The washrooms are very dirty, most of the areas leaking, liquid soap smells like anything. The service is the most pathetic here, you may ask for any small thing and they will act so surprised as if you have asked gold or diamonds. TVs don't work here and they don't even have the courtesy to recharge. The breakfast is the worst, better skip it and eat outside. Location is just okay as you can get all public transport right in front of the hotel. Only reason I booked this hotel was it was a Treebo hotel, but after this experience I am never ever gonna book any Treebo...

This is not a hotel for business people. I went by the photos posted on Treebo site. No one posted locality photo. There is no parking, even Ola Uber guys will push you out of cabs there because its a single road and you will be blocking the roads. Place does not have rooms with windows, atleast when I enquired. I was given a room which had a female clothes in closet, when enquired, I was told that belongs to permanent guest and it was left there intentionally as the guest will come back. Ac was leaking. No windows in the room, gives you sense of suffocation. These are smoking rooms and if you are not a smoker you cannot stay there and may choke out of suffocation. I checked out of room...
