Hotel Zillion Executive — Hotel in Mumbai

I recently stayed at Hotel Zillion Executive with my family for one night on May 21st, and overall, the experience was quite positive with a few areas that could be improved. Here’s a detailed review of our stay:

Positive Aspects: Proximity to the US Consulate: One of the most significant advantages of Hotel Zillion Executive is its close proximity to the US Consulate. This location is incredibly convenient for anyone needing to visit the consulate, as it minimizes travel time and stress, especially during busy schedules.

Room Size and Comfort: The room we stayed in was spacious and comfortably accommodated my family. The configuration included one large bed suitable for two people and one single bed for one person. This arrangement was perfect for our needs, providing enough space for a restful night.

Consistent Hot Water Supply: One of the highlights of our stay was the consistent hot water supply. Unlike some hotels where hot water can be intermittent, Hotel Zillion Executive provided a reliable supply, which was greatly appreciated after a long day of travel.

Cleanliness and Maintenance: The room was well-maintained and clean, which added to our comfort. The housekeeping staff seemed diligent in ensuring that the room met a good standard of cleanliness.

Staff and Service: The hotel staff were courteous and responsive to our needs. Check-in and check-out processes were smooth, and any queries we had were promptly addressed.

Minor Inconveniences: Surrounding Area: The surrounding area where the hotel is situated may not appeal to all customers. It’s important for potential guests to be aware that the neighborhood might not meet everyone's expectations.

Power Outage Incident: One minor inconvenience we faced was a power outage at around 6 in the morning. Initially, I waited for a few minutes, thinking the power would return on its own, but it didn’t. I then went to the reception and had to wake up the staff member on duty. He promptly checked the issue and informed me that the electricity had tripped. He quickly switched it back on, resolving the issue. While the response was quick, it was a slight disruption to our morning.

Overall Impression:

Hotel Zillion Executive offers a convenient and comfortable stay, particularly for those with business at the nearby US Consulate. The room sizes are adequate, providing good space for families, and the reliable hot water supply is a definite plus. The cleanliness and maintenance of the rooms, along with courteous and responsive staff, add to the positive experience. However, the surrounding area where the hotel is located might not suit all travelers. Additionally, addressing minor issues like the power outage more proactively could improve guest satisfaction. Overall, the hotel provides a satisfactory experience, making it a solid choice for a short stay...

The location is perfect for people travelling to Mumbai for Visa Interviews to Embassies/Consulates as they are situated in BKC which is less than 2 kms from the hotel.

The hotel staff were good however one staff chewed tobacco & spit in our room dustbin to our horror, when cleaning the room while we were out. We asked him to immediately change the dustbin bag... this is the most ridiculous thing we ever experienced in our hotel stays.... ever.

There is no restaurant in the hotel but they serve breakfast & tea coffee if requested which is chargeable of course (they get it from a mystery restaurant nearby, which we couldn't locate). Zomato was our best friend for ordering food online & there is plenty of choice as there are many restaurants in the vicinity.

PVR cinemas & market city mall is also nearby, less than 2 kms, otherwise there's not much to do around the hotel.

The 🚿 in the bathroom was not working properly & the shower head was mounted on the ceiling which can be a safety hazard as the electrical switches were just below it on the right side wall.

Rest all equipment were functioning properly.

During our 4 day our room was oy cleaned once & that too on request. Water bottles too were provided only when requested instead of them providing it daily as they said they would.

All in all it was an ok stay for the price & we got...

One of the worst service and experience I had in compare to price you pay in Mumbai. Asked and specifically mentioned about extra mattress during booking of double room for few hours. And they confirmed also and in last moment they denied mentioning they don't have extra bedding service and asked to take triple occupancy room; obviously has to take considering no option left Booking guys gave fake booking ID and no confirmation on reservation despite asking for it. 3-star property (as per them) they call themselves Rooms were not clean properly, bedsheets were dirty. No room service. On Asking for room service they called some guys from outside restaurant to take food order. This we got to know when they asked us to pay for food immediately and even on that they mentioned 24hr room service which was on the case on asking additional food in the middle of meal. As per them we have to ask for room cleaning and everyday basic amenities (e.g. Drinking water) One of the best call we had from reception; we can't use lobby area washroom when our father went to use it for loo. On call discussion they start to mention to save the argument; you can use toilet with door open. I guess for any human (specially old person) it take 5-10sec to figure out the locking system of doors. I mean atleast give a moment them to go inside atleast...
