Mughal Dhaba — Restaurant in Mumbai

Mughal Dhaba has truly been a worst experience ever in my life. First, we called them 30 minutes prior to book a table while we were en route but still they made us wait for more than an hour. Second, no one came to attend us when we got the table. I had to personally ask the server to come and take our order. Entire MUTTON CUISINE wasn’t available and the reason they gave is it will take more than an hour for any mutton dishes as they haven’t boiled the mutton and were asking us to choose any of the chicken dishes instead. Third, it takes ages just for a plate of fried Chana and garlic to arrive. Your appetite literally dies just because of the wait time between the orders. Fourth, we ordered Chicken Banjara Sizzler and they served us Chicken Tandoori Sizzler. We also ordered Chicken Bharra Cream and believe me, there wasn’t any difference in the taste compared to the sizzler. Just the COLOR!!! Fifth, we ordered Chicken Kepsa Rice which hardly had any rice but was full of the masala which we couldn’t eat. The wait time is way too long for them to even get our orders. There was a lot of chaos as well. Kindly do not visit if you prefer a little decent and quiet place. THE ONLY GOOD THINGS WERE BIG COLA AND ARABIC PUDDING! I WILL NEVER EVER VISIT MUGHAL DHABA...

It was my Birthday we went to Mughal Dhaba And yes If you’re visiting this place with your friends or family (many people) the please book the table and go… they do have so many places but This should be done whenever you’re visiting with so many people.

Food was Awesome We only Ordered Starters You should definitely try their Masala papad and Garlic Chana If you visit any of the Dhaba and you don’t try this… that will be an incomplete meal for you the 1) Butter garlic prawns 🍤 2)We tried Barra Chicken As suggested by the waiter was a hit 👌🏼 also tried 3) Chicken Star Dry (must try) along with that we had Butter Garlic Naans they were so soft and yes my dad liked it. As it was late night for us hence we did not ordered the main course we all were full we ordered soft drinks and we celebrated my birthday left the place took so many Pictures Loved the time. Ambience is Good you’ll get good lights for the pics and the service was very nice Thank you will visit...

With mixed zomato reviews and calling the restaurant twice to check what cuisine they serve best, i placed an order with this restaurant via an food ordering app for the chicken koyla biryani which was recommended by the guy at counter. I was told its a pot dum biryani and not the authentic dum style however the preparation is very unique. He was right with biryani being unique coz I never tasted such poor tasteless biryani before. The package arrived in a foil container accompanied with a pouch of dahi raita but the biryani foil was half open which filled the bag with oil and raita was already mixed all over. I would have avoid the poor packing if the biryani was not just rice spiced up with turmeric and onion and specially if it wasn't swimming in oil that tasted indeed bad. Tried a bite or 2 before reporting it to restaurant who was least bothered and hung up on me after hearing what i was served.
