This hotel is okay but it is situated at a VERY STEEP SLOPE. Trust me you would not want to go to this hotel (that is why the price per night is very cheap around Rs 700 for the economy room at Goibibo). This is the biggest cons of Hotel Kurmanchal. There is no way you can reach this hotel easily without completely exhausting yourself. Coming to the rooms, the rooms are decent but don't take ground floor rooms as the walls are very wet (maybe because of plumbing) and hence your room will be cold always. The owner is a very nice person and will help you in every way possible. He didn't even charge us for 2 cups of tea that we got in the morning. Please I request you not to book this hotel if you are with your family. If you are young, all your companions are young, ready to scale up the steep slope and on a budget, then only book this hotel. Coming on to the location it is located someway in the middle of Tallital (400metres ) and Mallital (600 meters). You'll get a good view of Naini lake...

STOP and READ if you're planning to book this hotel. Location of this hotel is far and uphill from Mall road. Though you can see a portion of the lake from the hotel, the entrance of the hotel is so inconvenient. No restaurant in house. You have to order food from outside. Standard category rooms are so small and with no furniture. Weird smell was coming from room. Though the bathroom is quite big. Full of insects. I saw spider (image added) as well. There is a staff Pandey Ji, his behaviour is so rude. Now, the most weird part - A centipede (bicchhu) was entering the room. I couldn't take the picture before I kill it. So the picture is provided after I smashed it. When I call and tell this to Pandey Ji, he was so annoyed on us because of we called him. He just handed over a can of Hit and said, "don't come out of your room"! So, my advice is not to book this hotel. BTW, I booked this hotel from Goibibo for approx...
