Cafe de Mall Restaurant — Restaurant in Nainital

Today in the morning, we wnt to the restaurant to have some coffee and french fries..... After having those my husband ordered a soup, and a waiter took the order....he was very polite....A few minutes later another waiter came and told they won't serve the soup as we took a bit more time finish the coffee and fries.....I mean is this a way to behave with customers???? Being a waiter, you should welcome the customers with warmth, so that they visit again..... Before we planned to have lunch and dinner in this restaurant.....but never again..... It is my advice to the owner, that please don't employ such kind of people, as they are a threat to your business....there are plenty of good restaurants in Nainital, people can go there as well....if you really want to run a good restaurants, do take necessary steps against that man..... First of all to all the readers I do not generally criticise a place until and unless it’s really bad or mood spoiler .

This restaurant is Just at the middle of the Mall Road in Nainital and also looks decent from outside but likewise the food taste h Is just the opposite of it .

First of all We ordered soup tomato and hot n sour soup both were sweet even after adding 4 spoon of vinegar and 2 spoon of soya sauce in hot n sour it was sweet . Which was the first mood spoiler .

After that we ordered Dal fry there were no lentils instead it was spicy like anything and tastes not good at all .

We ordered chapati which tastes like maida and other grains ( it was like chewing gum)

The only thing that we eat to fill our stomach was kadhai panner and fried rice ( 1 star for them ) but atleast you can eat it .

My friends were having non veg starter the taste of which was same (chicken dish was also sweet ) tasteless .

I recently dined at cafe de mal,and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with thoughtful décor and comfortable seating. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a delightful experience.

The food was outstanding! I tried Stuffed prantha,Veg Grilled sandwich,Mix veg Uttapam,Hot & sour soup & Dal Makhani, and each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. Dal Makhani was particularly memorable—it was perfectly cooked and seasoned to perfection.

The service was prompt, and every detail, from drink refills to clearing the table, was handled with care. The dessert selection was the perfect end to an unforgettable meal.
