The Roseate, New Delhi is a stunning property that exudes luxury and elegance. From the moment you step into the hotel, you are greeted with impeccable service and a sense of tranquility that permeates throughout the property. The rooms are spacious, well-appointed, and offer breathtaking views of the surrounding area. The grounds are beautifully landscaped, and the hotel's architecture is a fusion of modern and traditional design elements that blend seamlessly together.
Despite the property's many positive aspects, there were several issues that detracted from the overall experience. One of the most significant problems was the lack of training amongst the staff. There were numerous instances where the staff seemed confused or unsure of how to handle a particular situation. Additionally, there was a lack of consistency in the level of service provided, with some staff members going above and beyond while others seemed disinterested.
Another issue was with the food portion sizes. The portion sizes were enormous and this was not properly communicated to guests, which led to a lot of waste. Additionally, there were instances where the staff seemed confused when asked about the menu or food options, which detracted from the dining experience.
There was also confusion amongst the staff regarding the availability of the Kiyan restaurant. On one occasion, the staff informed us that the restaurant was open when it was actually closed for a private event. This caused a great deal of inconvenience and frustration.
Our room was the Roseate Lakeview Room, which had a beautiful bathtub, this as you must have seen in the pictures was in the room’s living area. The carpet near it was soaking wet from previous guests’ usage and the hotel did not even dry it up. We had our feet and socks drenched on this dirty wet rag as we simply didn’t expect, perhaps next time we would check.
Finally, when complaints were raised, the staff seemed to do little more than say "we will look into it," the composure and understanding of the duty manager was reassuring but the overall response unsatisfactory. This was the universal response as some guests on the side were complaining about the aircon not working through the night, others about loud noises early in the morning & power cuts (the latter two we personally experienced as well). While the property itself was beautiful, these issues detracted from the overall experience and left us feeling disappointed.
In conclusion, while The Roseate, New Delhi is a beautiful property, the issues with staff training, portion sizes, and confusion amongst staff detracted from the overall experience. While there were certainly numerous positive aspects of our stay, we hope that these issues will be addressed to ensure that future guests have a more enjoyable and seamless experience. The property has the potential to provide a unmatched escape from the city but deep relaxation cannot go hand in hand with such easily avoidable problems.
I am confident the resort has enough competent staff to turn it around or maybe we just went on a bad day. Nevertheless, I still recommend staying at The Roseate despite its flaws because when everything works correctly its a truly serene experience, I just wish that was the...

I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation to the entire team for their outstanding hospitality, and I would like to take this opportunity to specifically commend a few individuals who made my stay truly exceptional.
First and foremost, I would like to express my gratitude to Tushar for providing exemplary services throughout my stay. He demonstrated a genuine commitment to ensuring that every aspect of my visit was seamless and comfortable. From check-in to check-out, Tushar's warm and welcoming demeanor made me feel right at home.
Furthermore, I want to acknowledge GM Namit for his exceptional leadership that clearly trickles down to the entire team. His vision for exceptional guest experiences was evident in every aspect of the hotel, and I can confidently say that The Roseate is a reflection of his dedication to perfection.
Now, let's talk about the culinary delights at The Roseate. Chef Tilak's creations were an absolute treat for the taste buds. The food at the hotel's restaurant was not only delicious but also beautifully presented. I must mention that during one of my meals, I encountered a date seed in a dessert. However, the way Chef Tilak and the staff handled the situation was commendable. They replaced the dish promptly and with a sincere apology, ensuring that my dining experience remained unaffected.
But beyond individual contributions, it was the collective efforts of the entire team that made my stay truly memorable. The staff at The Roseate, Samalkha, demonstrated a level of hospitality and attentiveness that is rare to find. Every staff member, from the front desk to the housekeeping team, seemed genuinely invested in ensuring that guests had a remarkable stay.
The luxurious ambiance, the breathtaking surroundings, and the attention to detail in every aspect of the hotel's operations truly set The Roseate apart. Gym, swimming pool (aka lake), and common areas are well maintained. Things to improve: coffee needs to better, it was very acidic. Need some professional baristas to handle the department. Second, parking layout needs to be better. Trees are spread out randomly and my friend dinged his...
Read moreAs a foreigner staying in India, the staff at the Roseate went above and beyond to help make me feel comfortable. I felt like a VIP almost the entire time.
We had a weekend in the lake room for a total of around 45,000Rs.
The service at this hotel started out bad for me, but the staff all stepped in quickly to correct the initial bad experience. Sukriti, Rakuldeep, and Chef Nittin all worked together to make me feel like a welcomed guest. Everyone was very polite and friendly.
The food here can be very good, but I do not recommend the breakfast buffet at the Kiyan. After a bad breakfast experience, Chef Nittin personally assured me that all of my meals would be worthy of a 5-star resort. His flair for mixing Indian cuisine with international tastes was a welcomed surprise. I felt like a valued guest receiving so much attention from the chef. It was also reassuring to know that the food is all clean, and I did not have to be cautious of certain items.
The facilities here might be nice, but are all closed currently. We saw a small temple (complete with Durga), a spa room, and a few dining halls. There are, however, plenty of nice spots here for pictures and enjoying the pleasant weather this time of year.
The room has a nice modern architecture. The domed roof of the room also adds some extra acoustics for watching TV from the garden bath. A mini-fridge and coffee/tea maker are included. One thing to keep in mind is that there are only two universal outlets, so bring your adapters. The shower room is also a steam room which is nice. I did, however, find it odd that the sinks are outside of the bathroom. There was plenty of closet space, and I had more than enough room to stow away luggage after arriving. The lake room also has a porch that leads directly to the lake (actually a pool) that includes a table setup which we used for lunch. There is a spot in the pool for three people to sit comfortably in the shallow part of the water.
Overall the resort itself is nice and great for pictures. I would recommend the lake room once the facilities open again to enjoy meals at the...
