I recently visited Irani Cafe in Bavdhan for a quick coffee and snack, and it was a delightful experience. This charming little cafe offers a cozy and nostalgic vibe, reminiscent of the old-school Irani cafes that are so popular in Mumbai.
Ambience: The atmosphere at Irani Cafe is casual and inviting. The interior is simple yet charming, with a few traditional touches that give it an old-world feel. It’s a great spot to relax with friends or even enjoy some quiet time with a book. The laid-back ambiance makes it feel like a hidden gem in the midst of the hustle and bustle of Bavdhan.
Coffee: I had their coffee, and it was just what I needed! The brew was rich, smooth, and strong, with a perfect balance of flavors. It had a comforting, homemade taste that instantly felt familiar. Whether you're a coffee connoisseur or just someone who enjoys a good cup, their coffee will definitely hit the spot.
Snacks: I also tried a couple of snacks, and they were absolutely delicious. I had a classic bun-maska, which was soft and buttery, and paired it with a crisp, flavorful samosa. The snacks were freshly prepared, and you could tell they used quality ingredients. The portions were just right, and they were perfect for an afternoon snack alongside my coffee.
Service: The service was friendly and efficient. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, and they made sure everything was just right. I didn’t have to wait long for my order, which was appreciated. The casual service style fits perfectly with the cafe’s vibe, making the experience feel relaxed and comfortable.
Value for Money: Considering the quality of food and drinks, Irani Cafe offers great value for money. The prices are reasonable, and the portions are satisfying, making it an excellent spot for a quick coffee break or a...
Read moreThe Ambience and atmosphere is really beautiful and comfortable. The place is very hygienic. The staff was bit rude and non cooperative they were not attending customers on time . They were not suggesting to try menu items to customers. Customer has to select as per their requirements when we visited here. The service was very slow and waiting time wa smore. Its mainly situated in Chandani Chowk near highway the view was really great but was bit noisy since its near highway. They are known for variety of veg and non veg irani food items such as bun maska, bun omlette, chicken and mutton keema, egg bhurji, cakes etc. You have variety of menu options as per your requirements. We tried Grilled Cheese Bun Omlette that was really good in the taste but could have been better if it had some chillies or chilli powder in it. We also tried there famous coconut cake which was also quite good and fresh but it was costly. They have variety of options in Breads and Sandwiches. We also had Special Irani chai which was lesser sweet in taste but was good. I must say their food was awesome only they need to improve upon their service more. You will absolutely gonna love this place. Which not only serves snacks but also Lunch and Dinner in Veg as well as Non Veg Food. The rates also reasonable and not too high. we were unable to try some other items. I will definitely recommend Irani Cafe to all my...
Read moreI’m writing this review so people know exactly what to expect before visiting Irani Cafe. There is zero customer service here. The staff is rude, doesn’t even bother to take orders unless you call them a hundred times.
What We Ordered & Our Experience: Coconut Cake – Extremely dry and spongy. I want to apologise to Santosh Bakery for even thinking of eating coconut cake somewhere else. Nothing can beat their quality! This one was a huge letdown.
Chicken Keema – The smell itself was off, like it was cooked in bad oil or something stale. When we asked the server about it, he was adamant that nothing was wrong and showed no interest in listening to our concerns. It was so bad we couldn’t even finish it, so we decided to take it away.
Takeaway Disaster When we asked for a parcel, the server finally came over and placed a used spoon on our table—while we were still eating!
When the parcel arrived, it was already leaking oil before we even left the place. Clearly, no care was taken while packing.
The owner himself wasn’t interested in knowing what the issue with the keema was. The only thing he did right was repack it properly when we pointed it out.
Overall, a complete disappointment. The food quality was poor, the service was non-existent, and even a basic request like takeaway was handled badly. Definitely not worth it...
