I recently stayed at this hotel and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The most alarming incident occurred around 4:30 a.m. when someone tried to open my room door. His key worked too. Thankfully, I had secured the door with a separate bolt, which prevented the intruder from entering. I immediately contacted the reception to inquire about what was happening. Their response was dismissive—they said they would check and then failed to get back to me. When I called again for an update, they claimed the person attempting to enter was another guest who had accidentally come to my room.

Feeling extremely unsafe, I decided to pack my belongings and checked out early at 7 a.m. I requested to see CCTV footage of the incident, but the staff, particularly a receptionist/guard named Naman, provided a confusing and somewhat suspicious explanation. He claimed that he had given the master key to the guest, which led to the accidental entry—an explanation that seemed very unprofessional and unconvincing.

Given the severity of this incident and the hotel staff’s dismissive attitude, I felt it was necessary to involve authorities. However, the staff’s refusal to accept responsibility and their vague explanations made me feel very unsafe, especially as a woman traveling alone or with a partner.

Claiming to be a three star, they Rooms of very low standard. There was a strong foul stench, in each and every room that they showed us, as a result of seepage. Headache guaranteed within one hour, and you will fall ill too.

They have not even bothered to get their curtains altered up to proper height and they lie about 1 foot on the floor. Also not been washed, as the curtains also have white fungus like blotches on them.

Sadly they have not kept the general corridors clean as there is still construction debris lying there.

Railings at the staircase are weak and loose, so it can be dangerous if any small child happens to wander off towards the stairs. Overall, badly maintained lodge.

Don't make the mistake of paying in advance for booking. On being rejected, they said that we can see their sister concern, big, 4 star lodge, Hotel Escala By Level Up. What we saw there, was a whole new Level Up of seepage and skink in the rooms. But I will describe more on their page, as I have inspected that lodge also.

All being said, they will assure you refund by one staff, but manager will create some weak excuse to not refund, inspite of positive assurances. So one might like to see lodge before making any financial commitment.
