One word- "RUN" don't choose this hotel if you see the lady at the reception. Sheer arrogance and completely unprofessional and impolite staff. I along with my family members were looking for a cozy and comfortable place to crash for the night after a really long road trip, we came across this hotel as someone recommended me as they visited this hotel around 4 years back and their experience was exceptional. So the lady at the reception was acting as if she was doing some favour by giving us the room. We were denied a reservation because let me highlight this so called 2 star hotel's contribution to "DIGITAL INDIA" "We only accept cash or card" and that too the fares will be inflated if somehow you manage to pay via card. The interesting part here is that when we asked them to give 2+1 bedding with an extra mattress we were told this type of setup doesn't work here, to which we replied it's available on Agoda and MMT, which was also nullified. Just one humble suggestion to the management it might cost some additional dimes to train your staff some basic hospitality, but if that is done no other customer will feel humiliated and the hotel which was earlier exceptional will come back to its glory. Read moreI was a regular customer of Zodiac, and on many occasions, I visited it with my family for lunch or dinners. But today I came to phase 5 for any other reason and I needed cash of 1k but I left my purse at home, only my phone was there so I could use it for GPay only. I went to Zodiac reception, where I found a lady manager, I asked her to help me as I need cash of 1k, I will pay you 1k by Gpay, and pls give me 1k cash. I came here as I was a regular customer of the hotel and I was sure the staff will help me in this sort of need. But the lady manager responded arrogantly and denied to help me. At that time, from the back of the side, any of the hotel visitors heard me and came front to help me. He shared his number, I paid him 1k and he gave me 1k cash and I paid that amount somewhere it was needed. So, my point is why we people visit the such hotel where the staff and manager are so rude and even not ready to help you. They just need your money in short of their service and do not have any humanity. Please avoid such hotels and hotel services where no humanity there. Even some unknown person helped me but not the Hotel staff members, then why do we people respect them and their service? Really disgusting experience....
Read moreExtremely rude staff. When you are in hotel business, the least you could do is talk politely. The receptionist and the staff do not have manners to talk. We were coming back from a road trip and were extremely tired to drive back to Delhi. We decided to stay the night at Chandigarh. We reached Hotel Zodiac to stay here. They had rooms too. First of all the receptionist said we do not allow 3 people in one room. Then when I told her that there is no such policy and option is available on Agoda and Booking, she said we are only registered with mmt n goibibo. However, I can actually attach screenshots of there hotel on both the platforms. Then she said we will take cash. When I said we don't have cash, she said with card you will have to pay taxes, I said I am ok with that. When I gave them my card, they said its declined. The way they were talking, its like they dont have sense at all. No decency and behaving like illiterates seriously. Just talking in English is not enough, i think they should be educated on customer service too and a course where she can learn how to talk. Extremely disappointed. Looking at the indecency, we decided not to stay at a place where they dont have manners at all. Worst...
