Hearing all the gush about the new rooftop lounge in Puri, I knew I had to step in to know about it in further details. We went for a celebratory team lunch to try out their famous Baripada - Mudhi Mansa
Despite that we ordered a bunch of non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes which were delicious.

They need to train their service staff in general since they were very unprofessional and often got the order wrong. Some of them couldn’t even explain the dishes and made fun of it which wasn’t expected from such a high end restaurant with such values.
They were reluctant to provide glasses at first as well and when asked for we were provided with the messy ones which was literally picked up from the table in front of us.
Interior decor: 4.5/5 A great...
Read moreI booked the hotel last minute on MMT portal. On checking in I found many discrepancies, which made this hotel little less then desired. First coming to the positive points; The Rooftop restaurant is beautifully decorated with delicious food. Staffs helping behaviour is remarkable.
Negative points; Unlike most of the hotels, they don't provide Complimentary 02 Mineral water bottles per day even after charging a handsome tarrif. It sounded me so bad, that in hot humid climate, you are compelled to buy cold water, which reflects greedy/ fishy marketing gimmick. Tactically they have kept check out time 08:00 am, which is difficult to abide. Now a days people get up at 7 or 8 am, take breakfast and do check out at 10 or 11 am. This is certainly another big flaw or bad malpractice, made to shell out excess charges. I was surprised to know the room which was allotted to me had faulty Intercom, which was difficult to adjust as many services are required during your stay. On complaining at reception, Mr. Tapus said sir, on that intercom we can call you, but you can't call us 😳. Then he asked me to use my mobile as intercom.... Lol.. This hotel is approx 3km far from Puri temple, so for every temple visit you have to shell out 200-300₹ for auto rickshaw. Many hotel options are available near Temple, you must go for them. Neither it is near beach nor it is...
Read more❌❌❌My worst experience ever for a stacation.. Room service is very bad.. Telephone was not working.. So for any service we had to go restaurant or reception so many times.. And the most disgusting thing was that, for some issue we got late by 20 minutes from the check out time that is 8 am.. And for that they charged us 1000 extra..so We were asking for staying upto 6 pm.. Thn they asked me to pay extra 2000...priorly at 7 am I talked to the manager about my issue and asked him to inform me about charges if I want to extend my time.. Bt he didn't informed.. And later during check out time from reception they didn't remind me to check out.. Later whn we are going out for check out the receptionist was asking for extra 1000 rs.. And making very disgusting things... Anyhow by talking to manager I gave 500... Literally I'll suggest you you can get very good hotels near sea beach at this hotel price range... Restaurants food quality is very cheap but so expensive...chicken was having a rotten smell like they stored it fr 2 to 3 days.. I was feeling vomiting after taking it. Even bathroom and room was full of sand here and there. Don't ever...
