This hotel pretty much provides the bare minimum. We paid INR 7190 booked through Yatra for 2 nights. May be the price was high due to Christmas period but looked even higher considering the room conditions. We felt like we paid more than three times of its deserved price. Their behavior (specially one of the their staff) made my experience even worse. That guy did not know how to speak to the guest. When I complained about corridor lights not working, instead of explaining the reason, he asked, 'room ki light to jal rahi hai na?' that too with great attitude. When we asked for the refill of mosquito repellent already present in the room, we were challenged by the same person to find a mosquito in Jaisalmer. Their food was so expensive that we preferred to eat outside. In the name of included breakfast, we were offered two aloo parathas with tea OR bread omelette. If you are looking for good experience during your stay in Jaisalmer, I would suggest to avoid this hotel. And yes, avoid booking from Yatra as well as they did not pay any attention to my complaints. Also, I notified yatra that there is no swimming pool in the hotel as mentioned in their site, I got the following response. Now from where I could get the snapshot (I assume he meant that by saying snapshot) of swimming pool, if it’s not there :)||||"In reference to your mail, Kindly note nowhere is mentioned there that wifi is free ( wifi facility is there but not free ) and swimming pool is there, if you can check, kindly share the screenshot...
Read moreI had visited Jaisalmer for a three day trip with my family in the month of February 2017. We selected this place to stay after having a chat with Mr. Uday Kumavat, the owner, who was very courteous and pleasant.||As some people have pointed out, this place is a bit away from the main city. The result is less noise pollution and a pleasant stay. The staff is courteous and ever helpful and we did not have any problems with either housekeeping or anything else during our stay.||The food was good and was cooked and served according to our needs.||So here are all the good and bad points from our experience||Good points||- No noise pollution, pleasant stay||- Courteous and helpful staff||- Special accommodation for drivers, if traveling by taxi or your own vehicle||- Nice clean rooms, Excellent housekeeping||Negative points||-Lack of cross ventilation in rooms. Although the rooms have windows, we found it difficult to keep them open due to drainage stench and mosquitos. It would have been better if the windows had some sort of mosquito nets.||-The place is surrounded by open drainage canals which leave out unbearable stench||- Lack of wardrobe in rooms. ||Keeping aside the minor shortcomings I would recommend this hotel to everyone who plans to visit Jaisalmer. I would specially like to thank Mr. Uday Kumavat for his excellent and helpful gesture and his staff Prahladbhai and Dawoodbhai for ensuring a very comfortable...

Dec 26: The hotel seemed like a good decent bet when we booked it. However, against our payment of Rs.7600 for 2 nights, it seemed that we were in a hotel worth Rs.760. The location is in the quieter place of Jaisalmer which is good. However, the rooms are quite a disappoinment considering rooms in Rajasthan. In our entire trip, this seemed to be the most ordinary. The rooms are small in size and have hardly any place to move around. The bathroom though a bit good sized become a bit dirty once used the first time. The room service was so bad that everytime had to call multiple times to get some stuff. Even for water, we brought bottles of mineral water as not sure of the quality as we had kids with us.
Not a place we recommend unless one is on a tight budget or...
