Maharaja Guest House — Hotel in Rajasthan

We've been visiting Pushkar for Holy, we choose the cheapest guesthouse we could find, we are used to cheap accommodations, as we travel for long time we need to. So, we can declare not to be peaky! This time we've been treated as stray dogs. As we had slept one night with no blanket (a worker offered his own one..... of course we didn't accept) and I promise at this time of the year is cold at night, and we had no hot water so no shower after holy colors festival(!!!) , we asked to talk to the manager for discussing about the price again. The boss was very very rude, he asked us to leave if we weren't enjoying the stay, but not discount. Rising the voice like too scary, not listening to our complaints so we just paid all but we promised to write a bad review. Here we are! We stayed in this guest house for four nights in private room. We arrived to Pushkar for holi festival so prices were a bit higher than normally.We found Maharaja guest house on Booking.com and they were able to accommodate us straight away with no problem at 9pm what we really appreciated. We slept in private double room with bathroom.Room was not very clean especially the bathroom need a deep clean , dirty walls sink and floor ,still rubbish in the toilet bin from previous guests :/ what was good was a hot water. They also ha e small common area on the roof whit small kitchen. food was little bit more expensive-200 rupees for veg thali but the taste was amazing and also very good service staff made sure we are not...

Very very poor accommodation with inflated prices (as we went for Holi festival and everything else was fully booked). The first night we had to sleep in a super humid room with no blankets - yes they didn't find any - we were offered only a personal blanket from a member of the stuff which we had obviously to refuse. Second day: smelly blanket available but no hot water, that means no shower, this was very necessary especially after Holi colour festival . We had to run away , we asked a discount to the owner who only could speak with us on the phone in a very very rude way, asking us to leave instead of offering us any kind of discount for having slept with no blanket for one night.
