First of all: I‘m very surprised that this place has not more bad reviews. When we arrived everything seemed rather nice, but the longer we were there, the worse it got. Let me first tell you the good things:
The beds were very soft and comfortable. The staff was friendly and very engaged. The neighbourhood is calm.
Now to the bad things:
Even though it‘s only a short 15 minute walk to Pushkar, 5 minutes are on a dirtpath with no lights. The power, and with it the WiFi, was on/off very often. You want a hot shower? I hope you‘re fast doing this then, because the water boiler is very small and lasts max. 3-4 minutes. Therefore it heats also the toilet system, so be careful with that bum gun, the water might be hotter than you expect it. There is absolutely no soundproofing! The neighbourhood might be calm, but not the metal chairs from the restaurant one floor above! They are seriously loud and make sleep rather difficult. And if they don‘t keep you up, then some other noisy guest will definitely do the job. Even though the manager knew we didn‘t have a nice time there, he wanted to try and convince us to stay an additional night for a reduced quote.
I don‘t think this place is a 4 Star...
Read moreA very beautiful resort in Pushkar. A swimming pool is also available in the resort. You can feel a palace like staying in this resort. The hotel is away from the crowd and the peaceful environment prevails all the time in the resort. The approach roads to the hotel are not good and very dusty. However nearby Brahma temple and Pushkar Lake is a plus point to stay here. The kitchen in the hotel is average and provides on-demand recipes. The serving time is higher than usual. Room service is not available at late night and early morning. So if you are planning to stay here, please be prepared for that. The pool was not very clean probably due to the low rush in the hotel. As I stayed for a night only, I cannot tell in detail about the swimming pool facility. Rooms are very big and the linens is very comfortable. The balcony is a plus feature of the hotel. Overall I enjoyed my stay at this resort and you too if you have kept the above stated points in mind while planning.

Read moreThe Man Mahal is a treat visually for tourists who come to the city of Pushkar in Rajasthan. The palace is believed to be the biggest royal home built in the city. The structure looks very impressive on sight and is full of Rajasthani architecture.
The palace is located very close to another famous attraction of the city of Pushkar, the sacred Sarovar Lake. It is to the east of the lake and provides clear and breath-taking views of many temples around the lake as well its banks.
The palace had been built to serve as a city guest house for Raja Man Singh I. This was to be primarily used by the King when he would visit the holy city of Pushkar. The palace would also be used by other family members during their visits to the holy town. The palace has currently been converted into a luxury heritage hotel and is maintained by the state development corporation for tourism. The hotel is a favourite with tourists since it has maintained much of the old look as well as Rajasthani...
