Hotel Kasturi — Hotel in Sikkim

I had visited Gangtok with my family in mid-May and stayed at this hotel. I booked 2 rooms for 4 people for 3 nights. We had taken a double bedroom including a single bed in both rooms (1st floor). This room can accommodate 3 people. 2 adults + 1 child. The rooms are excellent, very spacious, neat and tidy. The bathrooms are also clean and there is a geyser facility, which is in working condition. Electric kettle too available in the room. It is in a prime location. Opposite Ranka Taxi Stand & General Post Office. Easy to access. MG Marg (Mall) is 5 to 7 minute walk from the hotel and the S.N.T. Bus Stand is nearby. I highly recommend this hotel.

Note: This is my second time staying at this hotel. Last time I stayed with my wife in June 2022 for 2 nights. We had taken a single room (2nd floor) including B/F & Dinner It was small but very neat and clean. The Manager Mr. Dinesh (now deceased) and the staff were very cooperative and helpful. We had a great experience and the food was very tasty.

I stayed in this property near the SNT Ranka stand for three nights. The location was good. I was offered a room on the fifth floor. The room was clean and comfortable and the view from the room was great. Despite repeated insistence to change the room, the hotel manager said that there is no other room available. Only after experiencing mild tremors I understood how risky this deal was. I arranged a local tour through the hotel travel desk and ended up paying 30% more than normal. The next tour I went through a travel agency and saved about 40% on it.||||The hospitality was great on the first day and being a vegetarian I appreciated the quality and taste of the pure vegetarian food. One of the room service boy, Dipen, stepped into my room on a fine night and insisted that I give money to him for the chef feels like drinking. I stopped the room service from that instance. I have travelled to every region of India and I don't understand why a tourist should be soft targeted by...

I had visited gangtok with my family in the mid december and i had stayed in this hotel.The location of the hotel was awesome bcoz i could see a superb view of mountain from there and as it was nearby to the taxi stand so it becomes convenient for tourist. The hotel manager and their staffs were very kind, humble and helpful. Whatever we needed anything, they were always there at our service.Rooms provided was good. Bedsheets, towels and blanket was very clean and hygenic. Food provided was also good. Mostly importantly they had helped me in getting permit for nathula pass. I am fully satisfied with hotel. From now onwards whenever i visit gangtok, i will definately prefer this...
