Hotel Siddharth — Hotel in Sikkim

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed.

First of all I chose that hotel because of its location near to M G Market but when I called hotel to ask address, they told that Hotel Siddharth is not available, you go to Hotel Himalayas. Himalayas is far from MG Market.

I checked in in Himalayas where there was no Room service, dirty rooms, dirty walls, no phone, No Kettle, No working Geyser ( We have to check Out without Bath).

Hotel manager (Lady, Namrata (Truecaller Name)) was very rude and staff was even more rude. At the time of check out (6:30 AM, already informed about early check-out during Check-in) staff denied to take out luggage from Room to Taxi. I have to take two big Bags from 2nd floor.

On top of that, staff asked for Rs. 20 for xerox of my Ids. When I denied, Lady manager asked me to go out and take xerox. After sometime, one male manager came and understood the issue and told we will take xerox. What a silly thing...

I won't recommend this hotel to...

The owner's a nd their staff's behaviour is very rude. Rooms are very dirty . The geysers are not working. . They are liar because when we check in they told us that they will give two rooms for one day in 1500 rs . And when we were ready to check out they said that give us 3000rs for one room or they will complain to the police. The tv is not working it is only of show off. The blankets are turned and very dirty. According to the price the rooms and bathrooms are very small . Even there is no shower and the taps are not working. If we go there after 10 pm they will charge fine because of disturbing their sleep . You must not go to this hotel find...

This is a budget hotel for solo travellers who dont worry much about cleanliness or facility. I would give a rating 5 for this hotel for two things - 1) The location as its in the middle of MG Marg which is kind of the happening place in Gangtok. 2) The staff is very friendly and helps us with the trip in very short notices especially like the one to Nathulla pass which actually requires getting a pass to go there. They helped me with the trip to Nathula and later to Lachin and Lachung for a very budget price. Otherwise from cleanliness point of veiw its really poor and no much of other facilities. I was ok with it...
