Horrible experience with incompetent staff and terrible service

We book the hotel for one week and the day we arrived there were water issue in the bathroom. We were moved to a smaller room and finally got 200 rupees refund after fighting with the management for five day! Out of five days we stayed no housekeeping staff visited our room for 4 days for cleaning despite multiple requests. I had to threaten that I would dump the trash can in the corridor if the room was not cleaned and then after an hour the housekeeping staff paid us a visit! The bed linen is stained and bed sheets are very dirty. When asked for clean bedsheets they say it's at the laundry and no stock available. The view from the room is terrible, unhygienic and you can see people urinating every time of the hour. The staircase has fowl urine smell The General manager has no idea what is happening and in spite of complaining he passes the blame and never resolves any issue. He simply blames his staff. Most times he would just day it's not my fault it's the hotel problem ! Most irresponsible manager I have met in my life Breakfast buffet is bread sandwich everyday with bananas , puri and curry. If asked for a cup of extra tea as part of the buffet the staff is shocked and almost refuses to give it. Finally they provide an extra half cup of tea with 30 ml tea in it as if they did a big favour

Sorry to say but we had a really bad experience in Mittal Gardens, Siliguri because of following reasons :-

1. The moment we reached the Hotel we came to know that the hotel was preparing for a wedding and there was no parking space. The manager asked us to park the car outside the premises of Hotel and later it was found that the our car was damaged as it was hit by a cow.
2. The hotel manager said that the wedding will be getting over by 10 P.M but after the wedding the hotel management was creating so much of noise that me along with my mother and father (senior citizen) were unable to sleep due to unavoidable noise by the hotel staffs and the wedding people.
3. we were lodged in room no.101 and 103 which is located in the first floor of the building and just below our rooms (ground floor ) they had a big kitchen used for wedding ceremony. In the midnight of 12 PM we were so disturbed by them. We could here lots of noise coming from the dish washers and also the noise coming from utensils. We had a really bad experience in the above said hotel. Shall never recommend such hotel to any of my friends and family. The Hotel should intimate on the online site that there will be wedding ceremonies too by which we could have changed the hotel on time. Very Bad experience that we even didn’t get a sound sleep after a hectic road...

We stayed in the super deluxe room and paid super delux money. The temperature was hot and the room had ac. Unfortunately, the ac was broken and was functioning as fan. We informed the reception but it took them hours to find another room with ac that was working. By the time they had a room we could switch to it was past midnight and my partner refused.

On the morning we were promised a buffet breakfast. It was buffet but they had very limited options: watermelon for fruit, paratha and pickle, pasta and what was leftover pakouras. We asked for eggs but had to pay separately for it.

The room service was poor. The pathway to the rooms were all greasy, had bed mattresses laying around. There were plates and glasses infront of the door of other rooms that stayed there till we checked out.

It was not a pleasant experience.

Expensive. And we got inr. 100 deducted from the total amount for our troubles...
