Cafe Karmaa Diaries — Restaurant in Siliguri

I would say they are charging a leg and a hand for the quality of the food they are serving, ordered strawberry and caramel shakes. There wasn't a hint of strawberry flavour on the shakes. Shakes tasted like simple sugar and milk shake and caramel shake not even looked remotely caramel one. Full white, no caramel flavour and they charge shake each of them upwards of 289rs EACH. Their congee chicken starter.... Only tasted sweetness nothing else....think of tomato sauce and chicken . That's it.... Not even crispy it was, charging those as upwards of 250 each. Lastly the only other item we ordered, Burrata pizza. I would say, it was a pittance of a pizza, only the cheese a size of a small fist of 1 yr old was spread as pieces on a pizza charging that at 590rs. For additional toppings ,it's like 30 or 40gm chicken toppings, they are charging 100rs extra.

There is a height of over charging and then there is this place....

If you have extra money to throw away, and want a decent enough place to throw it.... Maybe you have got your place. Other than decorations and their good staff behaviour, nothing is good here. It's like being a cafe they forgot their first priority 'FOOD' . I am not angry at their prices but against those prices the food that is being served is not justified.

Most probably this review will get buried under many of theirs promotional reviews. But stay the HELL away from this place if you...

visited cafe karma with mum on my visit to my hometown siliguri. i have to say one of the best places i have eaten in terms of decor, food variety and service. i tried their cheese wrapper chicken and it had a blast of freshness and deliciousness in my mouth. the prawn tempura was average since i have eaten better elsewhere. the a la kiev was juicy yummy and stunning. the mutton korma was another dish which was at par to any star hotels. The aar chimichurri i parcelled was good too but charging a bomb on aar fish items. The staffs are quick and courteous. I deducted one point because place has no elevator and its difficult for elderly to climb so many stairs and the place was a bit pricey. No zomato or swiggy available which is disappointing.
