Prepare to embark on a gastronomic adventure as we delve into the diverse flavors of Continental, North Indian, and Chinese cuisine at my favorite restaurant, Punjabi Kadhai. With its exceptional service and a wide range of culinary offerings, this establishment has captured my heart and taste buds. Join me as I share the delightful experience of savoring delectable dishes from three distinct cuisines under one roof.
Continental Cuisine: Punjabi Kadhai skillfully presents a variety of Continental delights that cater to all taste preferences. The menu boasts an array of delicious starters, flavorful pastas. One standout dish I thoroughly enjoyed was the perfectly grilled chicken, cooked to tender perfection and accompanied by a delectable medley of roasted vegetables. The balance of flavors and high-quality ingredients showcased the chef's expertise and attention to detail.
North Indian Cuisine: The North Indian dishes at Punjabi Kadhai are a true celebration of aromatic spices and rich flavors. From creamy butter chicken to fragrant biryanis, each dish left me craving for more. The butter chicken, in particular, stood out with its velvety tomato-based gravy and succulent pieces of chicken. Their Paneer Tikka Masala is yumm.
They also excels in serving authentic Chinese dishes. Dish that impressed me was the spicy cheese chilli, Nasi Goreng, dry chilli chicken which offered a perfect balance of heat and flavors.
The service is a shining example of excellence. The staff members are not only highly professional but also incredibly cordial, going above and beyond to ensure a memorable dining experience. From the moment I stepped foot in the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles and prompt attention. The waitstaff were knowledgeable about the menu, offering valuable suggestions and catering to individual preferences. The attentiveness and efficiency displayed by the staff added an extra layer of enjoyment to the dining experience.
Punjabi Kadhai has rightfully earned its place as my favorite restaurant due to its remarkable combination of Continental, North Indian, and Chinese cuisine. Read moreI have recently visited Punjabi Kadhai twice and am extremely content with the quality of food being served here and their services.
This restaurant is centrally located at 2nd Mile, Sevoke Road just couple of meters away from Anadaloke Hospital and Dr. Nayak's Clinic. As soon as you enter, you would find Bar on the first floor and family restaurant on the second floor. Loved the uniform/dress given to the staff. They really look so good with that Bhutnese/Tibetan Attire.
One can really relax with their friends and family over a great choice of food ranging from Authentic North Indian, Asian and Continental food and a pleasant ambience which we all look forward to for any special moments. Don't bother about the prices as it can compensate with their finest quality of food and their commendable services. We ordered Plain Rice with Fish Curry and Aloo Bhaja on our first visit and it was totally worth it !! Please go ahead if you are looking to try the awesome Fish and Rice Curry option. It was really good.
We visited again the next day and ordered few Butter Naan, Punjabi Aloo Paranthas, Kadai Chicken from Non Veg mains and Kadai Paneer and it were all great as expected. Don't forget to try their Green Chutney..the combination of Naan or Paranthas with the Green Chutney was simply awesome. Would recommend anyone who is looking to try Naan with Gravy options.
Little did we know that we have amazing places to done out with friends and family like "The Punjabi Kadhai" and congratulations to all the team members right from the service staffs to the wonderful team working tirelessly inside the kitchen to consistently maintain the quality of food and service. I think, till the time these two things are seriously understood by the Management, people wouldn't mind waiting in the queue to enjoy the food and service here.
Kudos to the entire team and thankyou for such a memorable experience. We would love to visit...
Read moreThe need was very simple. We were on the way towards NJP from Kalimpong, had to have lunch and if The place is found good, may be dinner to be packed for train. While in car I started searching and found the place to have amazing rating.
The Driver wasn't so willing to take us there but I forced him. When I entered the place I got awestruck. It was a multistory restaurant, very well maintained and decorated place with a very lively atmosphere. Being a Kolkata guy I felt envy for Siliguri.
We met Ratul, the floor manager. There are thousands of floor manager in India should learn from Ratul on how to take care of your guest and please them. He was fantastic. He took care of every small need. The way he packed the dinner, someone can do only for his family. He distributed the chicken butter Masala in three different containers for us and provided, three paper plates, wooden cutlery, paper towel and mouth freshener for the journey. BIG THANKS TO RATUL.
The menu itself was mind blowing. It was a menu that someone would like to order everything. Especially the bowls were insanely attractive. Ratul also offered a daily corporate menu for lunch which we liked most because of lighter portion and chose mutton curry bowl. Ratul also offered an innovative dessert as complimentary.
From the Mutton Curry bowl and pie to chicken butter Masala and jeera rice, every food was extremely tasty, light, fresh and full of flavours. The food really made the return journey special.
@punjabikadhai please come to Kolkata.
