Terrible Experience – Misleading Booking, Poor Hotel Ethics & Unhelpful Support

I booked a room at Hotel RSB Plaza through Goibibo for ₹1500 for a one-night stay. When I arrived for check-in, I was shocked to be told that the room was not available. Despite having a confirmed booking, the staff rudely told me to “go somewhere else and come back by 5 PM.” This is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.

After a long argument, they claimed to have arranged a room nearby, but it was not even in the same hotel and far below the quality shown in the booking pictures. I booked RSB Plaza based on its location and images — instead, they pushed me to a different place I didn’t choose.

I later realized that Hotel RSB Plaza prioritizes walk-in guests, especially if they pay ₹2000–₹2800, even if it means cancelling or ignoring existing online bookings. It seems they overbook on purpose just to make extra profit. Online customers are left stranded or redirected to poor alternatives.

To make it worse, when I contacted Goibibo customer care, they only gave me a ₹150 coupon — no refund, no real help. I felt cheated by both the hotel and the platform.

This whole experience was stressful, frustrating, and a complete waste of my time and energy.

Stayed at RSB Plaza Hotel during a recent visit to Tirupur — couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The location is super convenient, just a short walk from the railway station. The rooms are neat, clean, and well-maintained, perfect for both short and extended stays.

What truly stood out were the chill and cooperative owners — extremely friendly, helpful, and always ready to assist with anything you need. Their hospitality made the stay feel more personal and comfortable.
